You can conjure up all the righteous indignation you want, but the facts are Fidel hadn't received so much as 1 pt (over two months had passed since loan) until he was forced to make a public post here on 3/15. Only then did he receive anything. How long is the guy suppose to wait? C'mon man... you've been pm'ing him back?... the real question is: Why has he had to pm you as much as he has?

Speaking of facts, there were a number of times you had ~100-200pts and he saw nothing (all to sportsbook, plus the 12 a day that goes there). Taking a shot to hit big to wipe everything out is fine & dandy, but a borrower doesn't get to do that every time (at the expense of the lender's time waiting to be repaid). It was over two months before he saw a pt (and he had to ask for it, never cool)... and you're now going into your 4th month and your repayment avg/per day is pretty dismal. Sorry, bud... but dems the facts.

Seems you mighta missed the fact that I nominated V's post where he said you were a good guy and you won't stiff (so I'm not sure where that defensive posture you're displaying about stiffing is coming from). And when he appropriately elects to go public, *we* get to comment on it. That's the way it works... uh, public forum and all. Things posted publicly are anyone's business. The difference here is, it's one thing to check in with me and see if there's a problem. You and Tat who I did consider friends on here came straight here to criticize me like I'm stiffing the guy or something and didn't bother a bit to find out anything. Not a single thing you said in your original post is true but who cares right?

I never once asked tat or tried to get pity for pizza or points from anyone and I never will. I have NEVER asked a single person to gift me anything. My "dogs and kids" have nothing to do with this and I really don't appreciate being talked about like I need some kind of help. I'm not poor and I don't need any assistance raising my family and I never will.

I will handle my loan and do it without you're concerns on my end. If you want to talk to Fidel then by all means go for it, but do NOT come in here calling me out for shit you "think" is happening. There was no "radio silence" There is no "failure to get in touch" and there is no "leaving him hanging". If I my priority wasn't to get this loan paid then like I said I wouldn't be here anymore plain and simple. I found out a lot initially after reading Fidel's post(s) in the other thread. His posts proved there was a problem, no need to "check in" (otherwise he wouldn't have posted... would he have?... common sense there.)

I then looked at your pts history; ok, no radio silence, guess I was giving you the benefit of the doubt and figured someone wouldn't have the balls to not pay a guy a single pt for over 2 months (when you had pts at times, plus gets 12 every day) and still pm him back w/excuses. My bad. Seems my 2nd post was Dead Solid Perfect tho... but who cares, right?

And it seems clear you do need someone telling you to get this loan paid, as you hadn't paid pt 1 until Fidel went public. He shouldn't have had to do that. Case closed. (Plus, *I* have a personal history where I gave you an interest free loan and you still managed to go past the deadline so... I'm personally familiar with some "problems" on your end)

And I don't know what part of a public forum you're not "getting". Someone posts something, I & others get to respond. You can ignore it or respond (your choice) and then I'll likewise decide whether to respond or not. It's how a public forum works, last I checked.

Finally, I personally interpreted tat's remarks this way (the dogs and babies was a throwaway line, not serious): One would be hard pressed to come up with another poster that has had so much pts benevolence bestowed upon them by many others (and IMO, with next to no reciprocity back to those many posters observed over the years).

No one was challenging your manhood or your ability to take care of your family or your financial situation.

We were speaking to a loan that has not been timely taken care of (fact), as is our right on a public forum (I guarantee you Fidel hasn't minded the posts). And is done all the time around here, btw. Hard to take serious it's been a supposed "priority" when you've had ~100-200pts ~6 times and shipped em to sportsbook, instead.

Defensiveness is not a virtue. We're all grown-ups here and no one is making personal attacks at you. As biter said the babies and dogs comment was meant to be in jest and affectionate if nothing else.

Also, as Biter said, this is a public forum and the points forum polices itself. There's no regulation or litigation here just a bunch of guys helping each other out.

First of all, I am unaware of any other thread containing comments about my loan and not really sure why it's any of Giants business either, whether that's bite's ghost or whoever, he's irrelevant to me. I haven't been active on the forums pretty much since a few weeks before taking the loan in the first place. I don't read or comment in threads anymore.


Fidel, none of my recent comments were directed negatively towards you in any way, just wanted you to know that. I understand I have a loan to pay and will without a doubt get it paid. I thought we agreed on the original loan/plus interest through April and then we'd discuss anything after that which I did say in a pm I would pay extra anyway for being late. If I could give up pro to get the points back to you I'd do it in a heartbeat.


Thank you D for the kind words, I appreciate that. I certainly hope I get this thing paid well before btp starts and am long gone before then though lol. I just want to be done with it. I know I'm not very good at poker but I did do pretty well getting points with the old format. With the change, my ability to generate points was crippled with that.

Tat, I could have rushed to call you out along with bite but I didn't appreciate the family comments because I was already upset at bite(before I came to realize what he says doesn't mean shit to me) and I simply included you in with him out of frustration. Not nearly the amount or passed time as Fidel, but I can relate. 4uk seems like a good poker guy, so no interest charged. But no payments made in nearly a month & loan wasn't acknowledged, surprising considering all the poker chat. I don't have pm's, so bumped loan thread 3-4 weeks later. I was previously stiffed multiple times for large amounts, so was a little annoyed with the lack of communication. Stikymess bought my loan, don't know if he was repaid or not.
