    It'll only be an embarrassment if they lose. They were anywhere from -700 to -1000 on the sportsbooks. By comparison, the Cubs with Arrieta on the mound were -300 at home against the San Diego Padres, so Team USA is considered 2 or 3 times over a stronger favorite than the best team in the MLB last year with its best pitcher against an awful MLB team.

    You are the idiot in all of this. The US team won the game. Who cares how many they won by or who they were playing. A win is a win last time I checked. You seemed to be the only guy that doesn't get that concept. Many teams in all sports play down to their competition or a heavy dog plays well. You act like you have never seen an underdog win a game they aren't supposed to. That is why they play the game.
