Just from glancing at your list, obviously Pudge and Chipper are complete no-doubter first ballot guys. Those are probably the only 2 that there's no question about, in my opinion.

I obviously love Pudge having enjoyed watching him with my Rangers for all those years. And Chipper is my 2nd all-time favorite player, only trailing the great Kirk Gibson.

Pudge may get blacklisted because of the PED's. The big weight loss at the end of his career (when testing was implemented) had to have raised eyebrows. It will be interesting to see.

I think Vlad has a got shot at first year or 2nd year ballot

lifetime .318 avg. only 55 have ever done better and only 2 or 3 of them are not in HOF
    http://www.baseball-reference.com/le...g_career.shtml

add to that the 449 HR's and his mythical Arm and I think he's very solid.

    could also see Thome becuase

    a) he is so well liked and voting is a bit of a popularity contest
    b) 612 career Hr's

2017 will only be Vlad. Media will punish Manny for being a jerkoff and obvious PED usage.

I don't think Vlad gets in first year. It's tough gettin in first year in MLB HOF. This ain't fukkin hockey, guy.

Pudge gets in next year. Top 3 catcher all time. He's in.

    Chipper Jones for sure.

Manny and Pudge would be for sure, but for steroid questions. So who knows.

Vlad after looking at numbers, I'd say yes, but maybe not right away.

Jim Thome is a tough one. 612 HR's. And over .400 OBP. I'm tempted to say yes.

Vizquel no. I realize he might be the best SS fielder ever. But his batting numbers just aren't good enough. Carrer WAR (inc defense) among position players is #236.

Andruw Jones is a lock he did not age well but was one of most underrated players of all time in his prime best defensive outfielder ever.

This, the rest of the field is not really Hall worthy.

for reference here is last year's voting. Bagwell is closet to getting over the 75% hump, i'm sure he'll get in next year

Mussina with only 43% I don't see him getting enough votes AND leap frogging those other guys

also you now only have 10 years instead of the old 15 years to get your 75%. So this was Mark McGwire's last year!!!!

Nobody who's linked to ped's. With that said even those who arnt linked you wonder if somehow they just never got caught. When I used to watch Chipper his home runs to me usually didnt look like home run swings or at least theyed look mostly like long fly outs yet would sail over the fence. Thome has to get in, I think Id scoot Vizquel in and give a serious look to Vladmir Guerrero, Damon gets a look but prob fall short. For me Id prob say Thome, Chipper, Vizquel, Guerrero(maybe).

Loved Vlad, never met a pitch he didn't like, one hit a double off a ball that bounced up after hitting 4 feet in front of the plate,

You might be right because guys don't play as long now as they used to. Pitchers especially pitch less. Even with hitters, guys have their peak and then fall off. Even happened to a guy like Pujols, although he's a sure-fire HOF.

Lets just leave the baseball talk to me & Nasher. We're really the only 2 that clearly have a major fukkin clue.

Most of those guys will never get in

In the future the new breed very few will have stats to get in
Not weak, Trout waltzes into C-Town in 20 years, hate the fukk Harper but he gets there too.
Kershaw? If he stays healthy after this DL trip people might say there goes the greatest pitcher of my lifetime.

    Miggy is a no brainer.

Then you got guys like Jose Altuve, most don't realize how great he is, no good, great!

5th full year now, he hit .341 in 2014, he hit .313 last year.
This year? Altuve is hitting .356 with 18 bombs and 63 RBI and 77 runs scored, with 25 stolen bases.
Are you kidding me? Those are Mike Trout numbers, he's Mike Trout at 2B.

And he doesn't strike out, and he walks, he has an absurd .425 OBA, tied with Trout.
Altuve could wind up hitting .340 with 30 homers / 100 RBI / 120 Runs scored and 40 stolen bases.

Don't give me the game is weak.
    Game is loaded with talent.

    Here?
    Who's having a better year?

Best player on list is Manny and because of PEDs it will be tough for him to get in.

    Ditto for Rodriguez.

Vlad, Chipper, Vizquel and Posada will all get in at some point if not 1st ballot.

    Chipper and Omar.

I never really thought of Jim Thome as a Hall of Famer, but 612 homeruns without any PED suspicions (wink, wink), I guess he gets in, too.

    Okaaaayyyy.

Giant also thinks that Seaweed does a wonderful job here, and he's invested literally thousands in a futures bet on the Stros to win the WS.

So not really sure he's all that qualified to be giving opinions here.

I realize you're upset because I didn't give Ivan Rodriguez the Hall of Fame mention.

I get it, Opie. You have this strange kinship with him because you guys share the same nickname.

Your backside has been looking a little plump there lately, buddy.
