I know the subject of this thread is TOTAL AND SIDES but after a a couple of weeks of posting mostly losing sides I decided to just post what was winning.......totals!

Today however, based solely on relievers, I have 2 sides to consider. I AM NOT SUGGESTING YOU PLAY THEM and they are NOT going toward my record, but for those of you who handicap sides it may be useful info.

SF -105
Texas +105

LAD relievers have pitched 112 last night and 258 over the last 3 days
Reds relievers pitched 130 last night and 194 over 3 days

It is that time of year where more and more teams are out of the playoffs, or close to it. Granted, the players are still playing for their contracts, but it does add a different dimension to the game, IMHO. Therefore, I will be more selective on my Regular Plays.

There are no additional Regular Plays for Tuesday

Damn, hard to bet this one b/c TT has this as an OVER 0.5 1st Inning play. Not that a full-game UNDER is necessarily opposite of an OVER 1st inning OVER play especially when the full game UNDER can be the right play. Tough.

As you know this is only based on the relievers, not any other metric.

NW my man. Good job yesterday.. Not a good one for me though, everybody was a stud yesterday, even Cashner, and the entire Mets BP lol.. Plus Buchholz gone ace FFS.. Anyway, onto today.. Surely Mets has to be a relief play today, they used all their catalogue yest lol.

Mets are not a Reliever Play, and here is why: First of all I consider both teams not just one. Second, I look at the last day of reliever's work and the last 3 days. Finally I look at the average pitches of the starters. In the Mets case DeGrom averages 100 pitches a game which means the relievers statistically will not be such a big factor since they may only pitch 1 to 2 innings.

Thanks JD Initially when I started the Reliever Plays, I thought it could be used as a tool for handicapping. When it start hitting 58+% even I was surprised.

Good afternoon,

At this time of the year I want to protect our profits. I have 4 games tonight and I like them all, but I know anything can happen in this game. Therefore, since I have so many Regular Plays I am reducing my unit size by 1/2 and I will count these, win or lose, as a half play. I call it being prudent!

The Regular Plays for Wednesday:

Mets/Cards over 7.5 -105
Atl/AZ over 8.5 -110
Det/Min over 9.5 -115
Balt/Wash over 8.5

Remember 1/2 unit each!!
