I don't think there is a set formula as you describe. Both numbers are separate prices for separate bets even though on the same time. The market or the books controls the prices.

THOUGHTS
The good: We are rested. Papi didn't get any grooved pitches. And, we're back at it with three series on deck: one official, two unofficial. All of our teams are at home. Just based on RPI margin, Seattle looks like a good bet against Houston. No idea if Seattle was doing well right before the All-Star Break ("ASB"), but I do think Houston was trending up. However, the ASB typically resets teams for better/worse.

The bad: Our two unofficial series have a high RPI margin so be wary with your wagers. Also, the RPI rankings of both opposing teams are very high. The Giants also have the top away records in MLB so that doesn't bode well for SD. Of course, there is that division rivalry thing that sometimes equalizes things. I guess looking at the pitching matchups here might prove prudent.

BAL is only #20 away despite their #3 RPI ranking. Their starting pitching has been bad all year and their bullpen is one of the hardest working pens in the league. Their batters are also getting on base at an above average pace as compared to last year. All of this should fade at some point. Will post-ASB be the time when they start to crack?

THOUGHTS
The good: Against all odds, the Fathers beat the Giants with Bumgarner pitching! The RPI margin was staggering (.040!) yet Cashner decided to pitch a gem and lead SD to a nice Bet A victory for the unofficial series system. Gotta love the weak teams surprising their stronger division rivals every once in a while.

This triggered a V3 Bet A for the Giants. Hopefully, Jeff Smzaeradlkdjafia decides to exact revenge today.

The bad: What seemed like a sure thing, SEA Bet A, was not. I had multiple services, SBR threads pointing to an easy Mariners victory but this was not to be.

The Rays also had a nice 3-1 lead going into the 5th and a 3-2 lead going into the 6th but everything just unraveled from there. They lost by a run, son!

THOUGHTS
The good: We won the Mariners official series and the Rays unofficial series. The Rays lost the game by one run but since they were underdogs, the bet was +1.5 so it is a win.

The bad: V3 saw its first loss since tracking. Giants losing to the lowly Padres two in a row is definitely not something anyone expected. Bumgarner and Samardzija felled by the Fathers. Wil Cueto be next? Man, at -200 or worse, I certainly hope not!

The pending: Only one V3 Bet B for today. Three more series for tomorrow unless BetThenSweat tells me otherwise since he's been doing an awesome job tracking all of the series.

The good: Nothing good came of yesterday's solo bet: V3 SF ML Bet B. Cueto could not pitch any better his second time around at Petco. In fact, neither could the rest of SF's supposed plus starting rotation. Wutdafuq! Whatever money we won on the Padres RL we more than lost by betting on SF in the V3 system.

The bad: Does this sound like complaining? Hell yeah it does! Sigh. What can you do. Hopefully you had other bets going to mitigate the loss. It kind of seems like everyone else I'm following is struggling a bit though post-All Star Break ("ASB"). I guess that happens because all of the trends and momentum built up in the first half of the season has been reset. Have to be careful.

The pending: Two officials and one unofficial. Not everyday that you get two system matchups with plus RPI. Also, it looks like the Cubbies are getting back into the swing of things taking two of three from the Rangers after going into the ASB with five consecutive losses.

The wIndians took two of three from the Twins from this past weekend, who we're also betting on.

Overall, I feel really good about all of the series that we're betting on today even the Twins because their offense was really clicking going into the ASB.

THOUGHTS
The good: Two out of our three series hit last night at Bet A. Even the lowly Twins kept the Tigers to a 1-0 game and hit their +1.5 bet. I typically bet the ML, too, for underdogs so that halved my units won on that bet but it's still profit so it's okay. Just have to make sure that you bet more on the +1.5 if it is indeed an underdog you are betting on.

We also have another pending series with WSH going up against LAD. RPI margin is in our favor and WSH is at home. Should be a strong series to play although it would seem that tonight's pitching matchup is not the best for us. Thanks brian311 for pointing this series out!

The bad: The Indians had a nice 2-0 lead going into the bottom of the 8th, but, of course, they give up 7 runs in that inning. The Royals' dominance over the Indians continue as we go into Bet B tonight.

The pending: Salazar is pitching tonight for the Indians and that's a really good thing because his last two outings this season against the Royals were wins. He went the distance in both (8 and 7.2 IP) and let up a combined 1 run. Both were wins (6-1, 7-1). However, both of those were in Cleveland. KC holds the #2 best home record, while CLE is #5 away.

A note about KC's starting arm: He pitched against Salazar in that 7-1 win by the Indians but he didn't start then. He was coming in relief for someone else. His line: 4IP, 2ER, 2BB, 2SO. I guess KC thinks they might have a better shot starting him instead of having him come in relief. It's always a good thing when the team that is opposing yours is a reliever.

Also, official series have gone to Bet C only twice this season. Official Bet Bs have proven to be very strong. Hopefully, I didn't jinx these nice trends but you guys don't believe in that, do you? Haha.

Wow! CLE ML just dropped to -125/-121 Betonline/Bookmaker. I don't know if this means a good thing is on sale and we're just being played with or if something is afoot that should make me buy out of my position. I will likely go with the former.

The good: The wIndians continued their victorious ways behind a dominant Salazar. 10-2 on Official Bet Bs. It's like clockwork. Hopefully we see the same in WSH Bet B tonight.

WSH Bet A loss triggered a V2.0 Bet A for tonight which is supposed to imply a greater chance of hitting which presumably means more cash money!

The bad: WSH lost. They had a rookie SP making his debut so it wasn't surprising. Probably should've factored that in and laid off or just faded the Bet A in that one.

The pending: WSH is up on deck tonight for an Official Bet B and V2 Bet A. Will they continue to add to the pile of cash that Official Bet Bs have been this year? WSH's Gio Gonzalez vs LAD's Bud Norris. LAD was supposed to have had Ryu Hyun Jin (I'm Korean so I gotta say his last name first) but he's still hurt.

Bud has been pitching as of late. Last time out against LAD (6/4), LAD lost but Bud pitched well (5IP, 0ER, 4BB, 2K).

Gio has been okay. Nothing to write home about. Hasn't faced LAD yet this year.

The good: Need we say anything? The Nats, babay. The motherfcking Nats. No drama. No fuss. No muss. Just a nice fat W. Hopefully, y'all risked a little extra because it was an Official Bet B (10-2) and it was a V2 Bet A (3-0). I know I did and it really helped me out of a post-All Star Break hole. I haven't bet MLB this far into the season before and I really do need to tread more carefully. I typically quit way earlier because MLB is so hard to bet successfully.

The pending: Nothing today, but we're back at it tomorrow with the surging Angels. Their opponent, the 'Stros, are a hefty foe for sure but their RPI is a lot lower than the Rangers who the Angels beat twice in a row and before that the White Sox three in a row. The Angels are flying and they might just scare the bookie demons away. I'm excited for this series.

The good: New series on deck for tonight: Angels vs Astros. What's an Astro, anyway? Is that short for astronaut? If so, then this is a battle of the cosmos. Do you believe in celestial beings or the quest of celestial explorers?

Honestly, I think you can skip the +1.5 bet and just go straight to the plus money ML but, bet at your own risk please. I'll probably just do both as I mostly do.

Also, it looks like Shoemaker has pitched well against HOU this season (21.2IP, 5ER, 24K, 3BB) but only produced one win out of those three games. The other two games were losses of a combined three runs, so we're in the ballpark.

However, McCullers pitched well also against LAA the one time he faced them for a 3-2 win (5.2IP, 1ER, 6K, 3BB).

The bad: Nothing. Yet.

The pending: We're right at .015 RPI threshold for this pending series. Angels have been on a tear (six straight Ws, two series sweeps of TEX and CWS, which also means two more series to bet later on) so I feel good about the series.

Astros have not fared as well. Dropped two of three against As most recently and took two of three from the Mariners. .500. It's okay.

Gotta go with and love the momentum that Anaheim has tonight.

The good: Won the Official Bet A! The play was +1.5 so even though LAA lost the game, they still won the bet.

The bad: Lost the ML play though, which I suggested might be a good play. Of course, I broke even because the money I won from the RL was lost on the ML. Angels offense looked anemic last night. Houston's did, too, for that matter. A lot of unders lately.

The pending: Nothing until 7/25. However, I may continue to bet LAA ML against HOU to get that money back. Not sure. I don't recommend this to anyone but just sharing my betting thoughts for the day. I really need to curb back my volume.

The good: Love the pending official bet A that we have going on for today. Not only is KC's RPI greater than but their home record is on fleek. I've been waiting to play KC at home and I'm glad we finally get to do it. They didn't fare so well against the Rangers losing 2 of 3 against them but they should be able to take out their frustration against LAA which has fallen on some hard times as of late (lost 3 straight to HOU) after coming out of the All-Star Break hot.

The bad: I kept betting LAA ML against the Astros even though they had won their official bet A in game 1 of that series because they were +1.5 and only lost by 1. Being a stubborn donkey, I decided to keep going with and although I didn't lose as much as a normal series, it still limited my gains elsewhere. As we approach the end of summer (already?!) and head into fall, we must be reminded to stay conservative and preserve capital. After all, NFL is just around the corner.

The pending: KC is up and they are at home and the ML price is not bad at all! I'm royally eggcited!

I think that's the only series that we have for today and until 7/28, but BetThenSweat, or anyone else, please tell me if I'm wrong.

I was told that the first week or second week of August would be the cut date where the system should be stopped or it doesn't produce results. I'll try to continue updating until the last series though even if it goes into September barring any other intervening circumstance.

Not sure if I'll be betting my normal amounts though after mid-Aug.

The good: Yesterday's Official Bet A loss triggered a V2 Bet A. Not to mention, the Official Bet Bs have been hitting remarkably well. I feel confident about today despite Dillon Gee starting for the Royals. KC actually had another RP listed as the starter last night, Brian Flynn, which me made a bit nervous. Guess it made Yost nervous, too.

Though Gee has been working out of the bullpen as of late, he's still currently better than who the Angels are putting up: Another rookie. I'll take the mediocre pitcher who had a fair amount of starting experience over the rookie any day, even if said rookie has been pitching well at AAA. Mike Mayers, anyone (although he was splitting between AA and AAA)?

The bad: LAA was doing crap their last series against HOU (which was also a series under the Sweeps System and won at Official Bet A but lost every game against the Stros) and then of course they come back with a vengeance and take out their frustrations against one of the strongest home teams. Makes me a little anxious especially against a bullpen guy (despite his starting experience) in Gee. LAA hasn't seen Gee at all this year so that could be good but KC hasn't seen Skaggs either.

What makes me a little concerned is that even though KC pulled Flynn, their scheduled "started" as of last night, the KC ML prices have flipped the script since last night. I saw around -114 last night and since then KC has moved to the underdog spot at around +103. Despite the line move, Gee has to be a better option than Flynn, right? Right?!?!

The pending: KC is up for an Official Bet B and a V2 Bet A. Past results make me confident but we have OMGee on the mound, an interesting/possibly alarming line move, a LAA offense that should not be underestimated and we are in late July approaching increasing volatility. A little nervous but let's just trust in the system and go with the flow.

The good: KC won! Freaking finally! Made us all sweat it out, too, when they were up 7-3 going into the 9th and let up another two runs before finally getting the third out. I almost thought they were going to let us down again. Phew!

Also, wrapped up my bar exam today. Second time taking it because I moved states. The exam is like a curse that I would only wish upon my enemies. It is literally the worst exam that devious test companies have created save for maybe the MCAT. Hopefully, I passed. The only good thing about it was the nice yoga pants that girls like to wear when they don't feel like dressing up.

The bad: Took three bets for a win. Takes a little bit out of you to stomach a bet C. But, when you find the inner strength and make sure you got the right sized balls to take it on, man, does it feel good when it hits. Chase systems are not for the faint of heart nor for the small of ball size.

The pending: One official bet A in NYM which lost, of course. And, we got an unofficial bet A on ATL which is just a bit outside of the .015 threshold. Of course, the Braves are down 1-7 in the 5th as I write this. Worthless.

Anyway, we're on bet B tomorrow for the Mets and probably for the Braves, too.

The good: Nothing good here, playas. Mets lost. Braves lost. And both teams lost by less than 3 runs so we can't even qualify them as V2 bets. Oh well.

The only good thing maybe is that the official bet Bs have gone 11-3. It's a strong record. The Mets have Matz tonight who pitched a gem last time out after having a couple of bad games. The Rocks have not seen him yet this year so I take that as a good thing.

Tyler Chatwood for the Rocks has done well this season. Last and only time against the Mets produced a 4-3 win for him where he did: 7IP, 3ER, 3BB, 4K. Not bad, not bad. Rocks' offense is just good for a bad team, but not as good as it is at home.

Feel good about the bet B tonight. Glad I missed the bet A yesterday due to exam.

The bad: Braves have had some surprising wins in recent games but their series against the Phils are basically two bad teams going against each other. This means anything can happen.

Tyrell "Lanister" Jenkins (just kidding that's not his nickname, I just love me some GoT) pitching for the Braves. Last and only time (7/6/16) he faced the Phils he did okay (4IP, 1ER, 1BB, 1K).

Vince Velasquez is having a fine season for the Phils this year. However, the last and only time (5/6/16) he faced the Braves he didn't fare so well (6IP, 4ER, 1BB, 5K). 4-6 loss.

Maybe the Braves have a better shot today, but still, remember: two bad teams. Be conservative.

The good: Braves hit at bet B. I got on them at ML and RL. A little greedy of me but I think most of the wins happen at both levels anyway. There are some instances though where only the RL hits so if you do go on the ML, don't be too greedy. Just a smidge greedy. Haha.

Also, I forgot to put up a Twins unofficial bet C from 7/28 which they won. It was a continuation from an earlier series that began on 5/9/16. I didn't follow the system then but I guess the third game in that series got postponed until 7/28. I got lucky and ended up betting on that game anyway because of other threads/cappers but forgot to put it up here. Sorry guys. The bad: Mets lost again! With Matz on the mound, confidence was high that he'd secure the win but that wasn't to be. Also, interestingly, the line moved to a more expensive Mets ML by game time. This just adds further assurance that line movements really just mean nothing. It's all a ruse to hide what the right play is.

Just to share a little bit of what I did, I initially laid 0.5u on Mets ML thinking that I'd see where the line went before adding another 0.5u. However, as the day went by I was checking other threads and cappers on SBR and otherwise and saw that COL ML was a favorite amongst the threads/cappers I favor and I ended up forgetting to bet another 0.5u on Mets ML.

I bet COL ML live after they went up 1-0 in the first (they were still at plus money then, albeit much less than the +160 or so they were earlier in the day). When the Mets tied it up I just put more on COL ML at even more plus money and just left it at that.

Not sure what I'll do today but you gotta think that the system will pull through especially because it's official bet C. I'm thinking I'll go Mets although I think there are some who think the Rocks will sweep the Mets again.
