I won $2800 on Joe Mauers RBI Single in the 8th
Been sick all week with a sinus infection and haven't been able to leave my house. My bookie switched sites yesterday and the new site had some crazy live bet options. Literally was bored out of my mind and started live betting the Twins/Tigers game. Lost my first two bets for 50 bucks...then this prop showed up. +1400 for the Twins to score the 12th run...so I put $200 on it. Top of the 8th 6-4 Twins were winning. Runner on 1st and 3rd, 1 out. I thought it was pretty insane value seeing as the Tigers were probably going to score 1 run. So in my mind...+1400 and all the Twins have to do is score 1 run and i win. Miguel Caberra had a TERRIBLE base running blunder and ran them out of the inning.
In come the twins...first batter goes down on 3 straight strikes. So I have 2 outs to get 2 runs and I pretty much thought it was over. Single. Pass ball. Single. I only need one run. First pitch Santana steals second..BARELY. Dozier strikes out swinging...catcher couldnt handle the ball and dozier takes off running to first...catchers throws him out. Santana moves to third. 2 outs...and Joe Mauer is up
The Tigers bring in the lefty specialist Coke. Mauer looked foolish on the first couple pitches...and then came my payday
