In a season that seems like it has just begun, we are already approaching the midpoint of the MLB season, which means that it is time for our July Baseball Contest, the MLB Sliding Home 1500 with 1500 Betpoints worth of Free Plays in the SBR Sportsbook up for grabs! This contest begins on Tuesday, July 1st and ends at the end of the calendar month on Thursday, July 31st. You must make a minimum of 90 and a maximum of 180 MLB plays, and the contest includes Money Lines, Totals and Run Lines. All plays must be rated from 1 to 5, and the rating will be the BASE amount, so you will be playing To Win if odds are "-" and .Risk if odds are "+". Standings will be based on units.

Note: If there is a tie in units, the tiebreaker will be Action Points, which is how much you beat the line by on totals and run lines only. If still tied after Action Points, the prizes will be split.

redrum went 10-0 on Sunday and is now 18-1, +88 overall! And as great as that record is, his lead over second place LUCKYCHUCK (28-8-1) is still only 12 units. It is then 10 units back to benibrowns (25-9) in third, three terrific records on top of the standings.

There has been some movement at the top and things are extremely tight, as snapperman2 has taken over the lead at 48-27-3, +96.95, giving him a slim 1.55-unit lead over old friend billyloco in second. Then it is just 2.20 more units back to previous leader redrum, who is back in third despite a still stellar 26-6 mark!

There was a major shakeup on the last day before the All-Star break as our previous leader snapperman2 had an unfortunate 4-14 day to drop out of the top 10. Thus, redrum and his stellar 27-7 record take over the lead by five units over billyloco in second place. It is then only seven units back to LUCKYCHUCK in third, who came out of nowhere with a 9-0 Sunday!
