The team dynamics here are all Pittsburgh. They have won 5 of their L6 and 4 in a row in taking the Nats in the first 3 of this 4 game series. They are today going for a season long winning streak while Washington is dragging - hoping to avoid a season long losing streak. The Nats have lost 5 of L6 and now 4 straight. They are sinking fast and now under .500 for the first time all year. Although Pittsb has made up some ground in the division of late – they have to get Liriano going to have a any post-season shot. We haven’t seen it so far this year, but Liriano is one of those guys who is virtually unhittable when he is on. He is not the guy the Nats want to face right now when they are not swinging the bats (they hit .194 and only scored 7 runs in losing the L4 games). At -115 to -120 the price is very right as Liriano is about to have his best outing of 2014 to date.
