    Braves benching nearly everyone vs Jose Fernandez

    Justin Upton is not in the Braves' starting lineup on Tuesday night against the Marlins.

    Both of the Upton brothers -- along with third baseman Chris Johnson and second baseman Dan Uggla -- will take a seat against Marlins ace Jose Fernandez. It's a white flag of sorts from Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez.

    You guys know shit about baseball. Braves are not trying to lose. They are going with an all lefty lineup because Fernandez is hit at .277 with lefties vs .126 with righties. Every time I read this forum I get dumber.

    Losing BJ or Dan the Fan isn't a big deal, but I'd rather have J Up in there than Doumit or Schafer for sure

    Well they only struck out 8 times. Guess Freddie didn't take into consideration that these sloths he put in the lineup have to play defense too
