    kershaw got $215 mil and pitched lights out in the opener. wainwright got $97.5 mil and pitched lights out too. so why cant homer?

    Don't like the potential for delays but think over is best play here. Both teams bats should wake up vs these starters..

    Kershaw got his money and immediately went on the DL.

    However Kershaw is a special player and a special person and he exempt to this.

    Clayton Kershaw is a really good person. He said of his new contract its both a blessing and a great responsibility. Him and his wife do a ton of charity work and he def does not play for the money.

    However many players struggle after signing big money deals

    see Josh Hamilton, Barry Zito, and Alber Pujols etc...
