Exit Sandman- Mariano Rivera's last pitch at Yankees Stadium

One of those goosebump moments in MLB RIGHT NOW f you guys have the MLB package- Obviously, it's a MUST WATCH.

Too bad this piece of dog shit team couldn't score a fkn run tonight and let him go out with a save here.

    What a fukkin legend.

    WOW
What a way to take him out.

If you didn't get misty-eyed watching that LIVE you have no soul.

Definitely the best baseball moment this year.

The greatest closer of all time... and he's not given the opportunity to close out the inning, removed with two outs for the purpose of ceremony? Freaking dumb. Gesture and ceremony can be done anytime. For F sake let the closer c-l-o-s-e even it's its just the top of the ninth in his last appearance at Yankee Stadium rather than some silly contrivance.

Pretty simple here. If they had the lead he woulnd't get taken out. Since the Yankees lost the game, it was proper to do it the way they did it, especially the way they did was even better.
Derek Jeter coming to the mound with Pettite and you can read Jeter's lips: "Time to go"
I dunno what you were watching, but it was perfect, just like Mariano's career.

Nah.... watching the Yankee broadcast now and everyone seems to think it was brilliant. Me, I think ... have the closer CLOSE... even if it's just closing the inning.

Get the final out, that's what he does. Has Rivera ever in his long career been removed from a game? Maybe a time or two, who knows, I don't recall that and I've watched his whole career.

But whatever, Jeter and Pettitte out there was a nice touch. Cheers Mo and .... borrowing from a sign in the stands ... "thanks for the me-MO-ries."
