I know it's early in the game but do the Giants have Lirano's number? They have so far completely shelled him. His 2013 splits have him listed at a 6.00 era against the Giants for one game in which he won. Who would have thought that one game would be indicative of his future matchups vs a highly offensively challenged SF team? 4 runs in the first inning against a guy with a 2.57 era? Come on! Liriano's away era is 3.38! What type of madness is this? Lincecum is looking like a freaking cy young candidate out there so far! I never thought to cap a game against one bad performance from a good pitcher against a bad team.

We still must recognize that on the scoreboard in the 4th inning the Giants have 8 hits/4 runs vs. Liriano and the Pirates have 1 hit/ 0 runs vs. Lincecum. Horrible early performance by Liriano and bad defensive play by the Pirates.
