    Been scouting this kid alot, he's as legit as they come back. Him Olt Rizzo and Castro look like a very good core for the future for the Cubs.

    Another huge game tonight. Had a pretty mixed bag scouting report. Very inconsistent. But he's sure been on fire and he really passes the eye test -- big kid, runs well, quick hands, power, ball pops off his bat.

    He hasn't been thought of as part of the core, but who knows. Cubs have several prospects better than the 4 you listed. Take a look at Javier Baez, Albert Almora, Jorge Soler and the recent #2 pick Kris Bryant.

    This kid is really crushing the baseball. Maybe the league will catch up to him, but man, he's opening some eyes right now.

    Why isn't Lake getting the same press Puig got when he got off to a hot start that first week? Lake is hitting .583 and OPS now 1.558 in 5.5 games.
