What is really good forum. I have not posted in a while so hopefully that works in my favor as i use to be a very aggressive/stupid sports better fueled more by the action then the win. I have been placing bets in silent the last few months with decent success as I have been more focused on the long term and trying to actually grow my bankroll. I have been wagering 4-8% of my roll and had some quick growth but now with my $2,500 roll i will be placing bets on all sports and focusing more on making +Ev bets and less on entertaining myself and playing whatever game is on when i get home from work.
I want to start to build a name for myself in sports betting and hope to develop a good reputation for myself as someone who is actually (1. Trying to be a winning player and take a smarter approach) and (2. Actually being a winning player that has an edge in the long term)
A bit about myself I am a 19 year old Canadian Male so i have access to legal gambling and the glorious online book that is pinnacle. I have been betting recklessly for 3-4 years and have had my ups and downs. I started as a 15 year old playing parlay cards at my local gas stations and convenience stores with lines that are literally 1.7 on each side of totals and maybe 1.75/1.8 on spreads. I bet with bookies with juiced lines and obviously found no success anywhere as its almost impossible without a huge win but my experienced my swings some good most bad. I found sbr a few years ago and have followed some cappers over the years and avoided more probably as they gave had the same reckless approach i did that usually found everyone broke until pay day. I work 50-60 hrs a week as a sous chef at a popular restaurant and will continue to do so until i go nuts. I have hopes of attending college for radio broadcasting but im not rushing my future (procrasinating obviously). I hope to find a way betting that has some long term success but understand there is only a small percentage who do so i try to surround myself with knowledge from that 1-2%.
I will be posting my plays on this forum. I dont encourage anyone to blindly follow simply because I dont want people going busto on my top rated plays due to poor bankroll management. I have starting roll of $2,500 so i will be placing bets at a range of 1-5% with the highest percentage of my plays being 2% ($50). I also will post any other useful spreadsheets i find or create myself that may help others with there research and wagering but due to my busy work schedule i wont always be able to give extensive write-ups or discuss much during the day.
Soto a prosperous 2nd half to the MLB Season and to the upcoming NFL season I will be posting future bets and other wagers leading up to the season and hope to see you all soon.
I understand not many people are profitable in the long run gambling sports so i hope to take an investing approach and are ready for all the criticism and trolling.Lets get to work.
