Let's face it the A's are the most fundamentally sound team in baseball, they might only have 1 All-Star but this team of nobodies plays unselfish team ball better than anyone else. A's are ticked off about the All-Star selections and are taking it personally. They are not flashy but the pitchers get the job done and the hits come in the situations they need them to come. Which is why I think they complete the sweep of the Pirates tonight. Pirates have not been able to touch this A's pitching staff and Malone will continue that tonight. Liriano is solid but is prone to control issues which the A's take advantage of.
