The A's are trotting out a lineup that absolutely mashes left handed pitching, and are facing a less than impressive AAA call-up at that. This team could put a 4-5 spot up on Kershaw easily, they will do damage versus this guy. Plus, who knows how long he is going to be able to go (possible pitch count), and the Cubs bullpen might be one of the worst in the league.
On the flip side, Griffin dominates lefties, posting a very impressive .347 SLG against lefties vs. a league average of .419. Counting the switch hitting Navarro, the Cubs will be trotting 5 lefties to the plate. Not to mention, they are playing at the Coliseum.
Hard to find "value" in a -230 line in bases, but if anything DO NOT waste your money on a contrarian Cubs bet. They have no chance.
