Reason being is I dont have a favorite MLB team anymore. I used to be SF Giants fan win they had Barry Bonds....

but anyway should i bet 500 on 2 different teams to win the world series or a 1,000 on 1 team?

    Royals...

Shields, Guthrie, and Santana is a good trio for playoff baseball...

Cardinals should win the NL central and at 14-1 are solid and would be my first choice.
Royals 20-1 ain't bad if they trade for a SP. Guthrie / Santana would be +140 in any playoff game they start.
Rays 28-1 or Dbacks 40-1 would be my other choices.

forgot about the Dbacks. Very solid team and still very underrated.

That would be pretty sweet to put 1K on D-Backs and win

    40,000.

very reasonable pick. Cabrera picking up where he left off very solid pitching rotation. At the moment can't really see anyone else winning the American League.

I like the Cardinals future a little bit. At first i was really dissapointed in them for not re-signing Lohse but Miller has been outstanding. ( except for the one time i bet on him, got lit up by the Pirates and they didn't even have McCutchen in the line-up. )

Its funny you mention only the Tigers from the AL , so you think the Tigers got that pretty much locked up? what about Texas Rangers ... do u think they pose a threat?

As far the Reds.. i kinda feel like they are a great regular season team b/c they run a solid starter out there every night, have a great bullpen and a decent line-up.

But they are not hitting that great right now. But i don't know if they have world series potential just b/c Latos and Cueto are not really the same caliber aces as a Verlander, Darvish, Kershaw etc.....

If Seattle made the playoffs they might make some noise with Iwakuma and king felix but i don't see them getting there.

Detroit has no bullpen. Verlander and scherzer can't go into the 8th every game in the playoffs. They're a lock for the playoffs, but odds aren't giving you any value as the playoff system makes it a crapshoot for every team that makes it

true. who would have thought the giants would have won last year after being down 2-0 against the reds in a best of 5... especially going to cincinnati down 2-0

The main way I profit from MLB futures, is hedging. For instance, Tigers last year at +2000 right before they landed Fielder, gave me a real nice ability to hedge out for profit.

Tigers at 6-1 doesn't leave much hedging room.

Cardinals solid offense, 5 starters in the top 35 in ERA, and experience. Biggest flaw is a closer.

Unless he finds a way to bet two teams at less than even money, I fail to see how that's relevant.
