    Much more difficult to hit today than it was 50 years ago, hell 70 years ago. Pitchers started back to back and didn't have a 5 day rest throwing 100mph.

    Cabrera now has 201 H, 40 2B, 44 HR, 137 RBI. Numbers had been reached 3 times in history, twice by Gehrig and once by Ruth.

    look up babe ruths numbers and try not to laugh, I know the pitching is most likely better today but there was never a more dominate player in baseball. Give babe ruth the training and steroids they do today he will be just as dominate
