A 89 rematch would be good for Northern California (& The Valley) but probably bad for the rest of the nation. I want to see it and hope the 89 rematch happens. Had that earthquake not happened my Giants would have thumped those Athletics. Oakland got a chance to rest and reset their rotation. That year Giants needed every amount of luck they could get and seeing Stewart twice in three games wasn't luck.
