    nothing will get rid of the umpshow like the yankees getting beat in the one game playoff. they already added the extra wildcard because the rays were fuking up the income by preventing both the red sox and the yankees from making it. if neither of them make it this year, there will be changes.

    It was a blown call however maybe next time don't wait till the 9th to comeback after losing all game. Yanks are frustrated because they are in the trash bin right now. However this is what 50 straight or something close to that they have lost when trailing after 8 innings....hello!!! They are a front runner team and if they don't do it early then it won't happen at all most likely.

    Good for Texiera for calling out the obvious miscall by the umpire. It's refreshing to see a player calling it like they see it instead of biting their tongue in fear of repercussion by the league.
