    Well, both cities made the Super Bowl in the 2002 NFL season. I don't see why the hell they would play MLB games on 8/26/2012 when that is the case. So obviously, they are off.

    They played yesterday in Tampa.

    Maybe the game got moved because of Tropical Storm Isaac so Oakland could get out of town.

    Baseball teams always play on Sundays. This has to be the reason.

    Went to Rays game yesterday. There was never a game scheduled for today since the beginning of the season. Trop is one of the venues for RNC.
