I'd stay AWAY from the halos. Player for player, one of the most talented teams in the league. However, Scoscia is not the kind of manager that can go all the way. And the team, as a whole, has a talent for giving away leads.

I'd also stay AWAY from the Giants. The hitting just isn't there and we all know the status of their best closer, Wilson. Also, Timmy, IMO, is still a question mark. And Zito...enough said. This leaves Cain, Voglesong, and Bumgardner to do the heavy lifting. Just too many ways in which they can fail.

I've now developed a bad taste for the Cards. Had them for a unit last night and they made a guy returning from triple A look like Jared Weaver pitching at home. Matheny also showed poor decision making by leaving Lynn on the mound too long last night. Instead of taking him out and preserving a 2-1 lead, he allowed Lynn to squander it away. And then, this sh1t stain excuse for a manager replaces him with ANOTHER righty with a 4+ ERA. Anyone who watched the game saw how that ended. Once the Rockies built up momentum, you can tell the Cards pretty much mailed it in. Clubs who don't get the easy Ws when they're supposed to will just lose ground to better teams. And before they know it, others are in the play offs while they're on the golf course.

Nats is definitely the best shot in whole list.

I think Rangers will come to the WS from AL but Angels have the value there.

The Braves really do have a complete team. Good starting pitching, Good bullpen , Potent line-up.

BTW I have always hated the Atlanta Braves so i am not biased here. I thought the Braves had a chance last year but they didn't matchup with the phillies well b/c the Braves didn't have the LHP to matchup with Utely, Howard, Rollins etc...
However we all know what happened both of those teams choked.

Braves do have potential though. Hard to ignore this pitching rotation of Hudson, Malholm, Sheets, Minor

Jurgens and Hanson suck now but that bullpen is legit and they have firepower with Jones, Heyward, Ugla, Freeman, McCann and I am also impressed with the new 3rd basemen that fills in for Chipper. The hispanic fella don't know his name he's got pop from the left side.

I just don't think the Nationals have the experience to win a
world series. Give them another 2 years or so.

The Braves always fold or choke late in the year or in the playoffs. It's only a matter of time.

The Tigers can win the World series. Only team in the way is Texas.

Yankees could get in way of Tigers too. If only Verlander could pitch every game....
Need Fister, Porcello, and Sanchez to all get hot.

Tigers play the yanks well.. they won't be a problem if they meet in the playoffs.

Yanks starting pitching is up in the air at best and their ace has struggles out at Comerica

Now when you sady Scosia isn't the type of manager that could take his team all the way-you do realize that he was a ring already right? Scosia is one of the best Managers in the league, Man. They have the Rookie of the Year, MVP, and Cy Young winner on the same team. If Scosia doesn't send C.J Wilson back to Triple A or anywhere but the mound Angels have a great shot.

I think it'll be Washington and Los Angeles Angels playing the world series this year.

Tigers been playing some bad baseball lately. Might have to go with the Yankees on this. I know its square but it will probably hit.
