    White Sox 19 - Ranger 2 (7-3-12) Revenge Time?

The White Sox are coming of a three game home sweep against the Twins, but before was a mere 3-7 on their 10 game road trip, with last 5 of their games batting .195 and being outscored 30-9. Now they are back on the road to face the AL leader in home wins this year at 31.

I suspect the Rangers will have a nasty taste in their mouth whom this month got sweep on the road by the White Sox. The sweep started of with Sale vs. Oswalt, where Sale dominated the game pitching 7 1/3 innings giving up 5 hits and 1 run in a 19-2 ass beat down. The sweep ended where the Rangers only put up a mere run in the battle of Quintana vs. Harrison.

Now all this preludes to a unique situation where the Rangers may get some revenge. Here are a couple of situations that favor the Rangers here tonight.

Sine July of 2011, the Rangers are 14-0 (13-1 on the RL) as home favorite when they lost the last time they faced this starter pitcher (Sale, above). The average line is -156 with an average margin of victory of 3.8 runs. They are 2-0 in this situation this year. That being said, I think we are getting great value at -135-138 tonight.

Additionally, as I referred to the Rangers putting only one run in their final game of sweep. Well since the 2011 season, when the Rangers are revenging a loss where they put up one run or less they are 28-5 SU, with an average line of -145 and margin of victory of 3.1 runs. This situation is 13-2 this year, with average line of -164 and margin of victory of 2 runs.

I personally think the Rangers are a fav here for a reason, even against the young stud Sale. I think they seek vengence tonight. Therefore, I will put a 10% wager on them...gl if you choose too side.

Goes well with Darvish's numbers when facing an MLB team for the first time
