Weaver should be a -210 road favorite, not -176

Line stinks, and I'm not touching Dream Weaver tonight.
Usually I don't let the line dictate my plays, but this line is off, like 35 cents off.

Weaver coming off that no-no, is undefeated this year, has that microscopic 1.61 ERA, has that unbelievably low 0.78 WH/IP ratio, striking out almost double digit batters every start, against a pathetic Minny team, starting a pitcher (Liriano) who hasn't been right in a couple of years now, who sports a ludicrous 9.97 ERA with a really ludicrous 2.22 WH/IP ratio.

Hmm, let's see, Liriano allows more base runners in an inning than Weaver allows runs in a game, Weaver hasn't lost all year, Liriano hasn't won a game all year, Angels hit Liriano really hard, Twins can't touch Weaver.

    No brainer, right?

    Sorry, not biting.

I can see a 3-2 Twins win, say a scratch run in the bottom of the ninth, Weaver getting out in the eight, 2 runs, 1 earned, NO DECISION.

I can see that easily happening tonight

I think so many people have jumped on the "fade the pitcher after a no-hitter" trend train that we are seeing the adjustments by bookmakers.

steeve but what if they do that on purpose in order to look like bait in order for people like us to lay off? anyways I agree with you even the reason that weaver last threw a no-no and the strange pattern it shows constantly with the following game bad performance is enough for me to lay off

Weaver's already lost -- and been shelled -- in Minnesota once this year.

It's a trend that has been proven though Arch, I'm not the only baseball junkie who knows more times than not,the pitcher that throws a no hitter, loses his next start.

Not touching the game, gun to head, Twins at + money, there are tons of better wagering options out there.

They're both bad teams....thinking the Angels should be -210 here is completely absurd.

Halladay and Verlander have been -200 on the road several times.

p.s. try posting some plays every now and then, quit being a nudge that trolls threads.

Halladay and Verlander attract the square money from people such as yourselves a little more than a Weaver does..maybe it's due to him pitching on the West Coast...as nocoin mentioned above the Twins already hit Weaver hard earlier this year....and the Angels are only 3 games ahead of the Twins in the overall standings. Thinking he should be -210 on the road, against a team who already beat him and might I add pitching on a bad Angels team is flat out absurd.

FYI...I post a lot of plays and most win. Im on Red Sox -115 tonight.

see this forum gets dumb when you got newbs like dudley telling steve nash his plays are square. calling any play a square play is dumb. theres smart money or dumb money. theres no advantage/disadvantage based on the amount of public on it
