    Pitchers

I have been watching 3-5 innings of 3-4 games every night. I have been keeping notes. If you have a question about a new pitcher or want to know how someone looked that day just ask.
The stats won't show it but Niemann looked damn impressive today. He was throwing 91-92. He located his curve ball very well and his split finger was very effective. He is definitely going to be a "play on" in his next start. His opponent today in his first major league appearance looked almost equally impressive. Smyly is a lefty that throws a great downhill fastball and loves to throw ton of them. He sits at 90-91 and he really didn't start throwing many sliders until the 4th inning on.

Kyle Drabek had the highest whip in all of mlb last year, 1.85. He learned how to pitch in the major leagues and has developed his two seamer. Kid throws 94 and has two plus off speed pitches. He could very well end up winning 15+ games this year if he can keep this up. The O's have been hitting very well lately which makes his performance today all the more impressive.
