So the first week of baseball is almost in the books and I have been profiting pretty nice with simple stats and wagers. It all started Wednesday when the Cardinals were heavy underdogs to the Marlins, Friday the Cardinals were heavy underdogs to the Brewers, and then last night I picked the Royals who were heavy underdogs to the Angels. I figured I'd share some knowledge with fellow sports fanatics and help them out.

I do not play run lines or over/unders, so all my advice is straight up bets. So here is todays pick

Yankees over Rays.

The line is +110-+105 on most sites.

Why?

Phil Hughes 2.03 ERA in day games 2.03 ERA in away games 1.56 ERA last 30 days.

Moving on....

500 for 550 for a total of 1050 and then after the yankees win

1000 on the Rangers over White Sox.

While the Rangers are -172 the home team is undefeated on sundays with the ump calling the shots and the Rangers are hot when coming off a loss and hot when Harrison is pitching

overall profit is....

550+581=1131.
