    Dbacks force game 4!!

Loving this situational play right now. This is the game AZ will take. Brewers away from home got marcum on the mound who is hit or miss. Brewers get caught looking ahead. Dbacks steal this one at home with the rookie colmentor on the mound. Dont sleep on him hes got a strong arm!

    Upton 3 run shot tonight

    note: I have brewers futures..

didn't pull the trigger on any other play today-
but I've been looking forward to this game since I f@#kin' woke up!
my local book thought I was f@#kin' high when I posted the extra unit on the alternative runline...
I know it is not over yet, and anything can happen on the bases, but I feel f@#kin' good right now.
cheers, gentlemen. c'mon, 'zona! slam the f@#kin' door! good luck, diamondbacks!

    "brewers caught looking ahead."

Highly doubt that, their manager has been preaching 1 game at a time approach all season, and has repeated it basically after every game. Not only that but all the star players have said the same thing, hart, braun, fielder have said that, in 08 they believed they had to go all in every game or they were out, but in this series they just are taking one game at a time and are enjoying themselves.

What do you think of the team totals? I have 4 for both teams, both look good to me.

I am on the Brewers tonight, they close it out. They are a much better team all round, Macrum had a terrible game. Wolfe just needs to pitch 5 or 6 good innings and hand it off to our great bullpen, who is well rested. Hawkins, Saitio, K-rod, Axford. so really wolfe pitch 5 good innings, and we got this.
I think D-bags offense is really inconsistent, if they don't hit the big power numbers they usually don't do well. Unlike the brewers who lead the league in sac hits. Who play small ball when it matters.

But just bet blindly on the brewers overall road record. You might win tonight's game, but betting on games on meaningless stats is really going to hurt you over-all.

Wolfe although he is a vertran doesn't really have a lot of post-season experience. He has been working on a great change up all year, I think that is the out pitch tongiht along with his curve. He obviously needs to keep that curve down in the dirt. D-bags are a fast ball hitting team, and swing at the first pitch a lot. Wolfe does his 58 MPH change up and makes them look stoopid.

I'm confused, why isn't Ian Kennedy starting tonight?
Does Kirk Gibson believe that Ian can close the door on starting him for the last game if they win tonight?

I thought Wolfe won @ Arizona and lost at home this year.

You are right he 'lost'. But he only gave up 2 ER in 7.1 IP. Brewers lost 3-0.

Wolfe's stats for September are kind of f'd up because he had to play at Wriggly with the wind blowing out. A lot of doubles in that game, and a 3 run homer. So I don't think we really know what we will see from him tonight, but Wolfe is an off speed pitcher, D-backs are going to have to be patient today and not aggressive.

I think the Brewers take it tonight too, though obviously a homer here. As a Brewer fan how do you not know that the guy's name is Wolf, not Wolfe?

Thanks bud...just a 1x play so either way it goes. Hope they can carry the momentum from last night, and and tie it up. They are pretty darn good at home as well.

Brewers always seem to struggle with young pitchers, always. The whole year. Hopefully our stars act like stars tonight. Braun and Fielder need to light it up. It would be nice to see Weeks get a hit, his ankle still has to be killing him, he has not him self at all since he got back.
