Im on this for 2 units.
CC looked solid in the first game except for one pitch. Verly looked shaky. I think the yanks bounce back and take command of the series.
Is it a square play?

Can you create one thread without you thinking an underdog will win the game?
Just admit it. Thats the only way you can get attention and thats by taking an ugly underdog.
Every thread is
Jaguars +10 and ML
Sacramento Kings +10
or
Orioles +180
And then using your usual reasoning. I think this underdog can win the game. If he loses, no harm at all for you because they are suppose to lose. When you going to quit this stupid routine. Its not hard for anyone to pick UPSETS when every single play is an underdog.
Why do you think tons of other people call you out on this?

Verlander did look shaky, but he also wasn't getting calls and there was an error behind him on the strikeout. He should have gotten out of the inning cleanly.
Sabathia did look good, but I'm hoping that changes tomorrow. Tigers fans have been waiting a long time for this!

Are you upset that there are a few people here that knows thats what you do and call you out on it? Why do you think a lot of people say the same thing? But if they get blown out, no one would say anything about it because they are suppose to lose and thus no harm for you. Its basically a win/win situation when you take an ugly underdog.

Anyways.
Verlander didn't have any command and his fastball was topping out around 93. Not exactly mid season form, when he was touching 98 with a fukkin red dot sight. If he comes out anything like this the Yanks get to him early and often.Last edited by Holtgetsback; 10-03-11 at 02:29 AM.

if yankees lose this game...they lose the series...they have no pitching besides sabathia.
As far as who will win, its a crapshot...why are you even betting this game??....no value in either side here.
Verlander is looking for AL cy young award...no point in taking yankees here at all.

I really like Verlander... he will take what happened in gm 1 as being lucky now, pass ball get gets on first... ends up scoring without a fukkn hit...etc
He will be on his game

Take a look at the pitch tracker. Both of his walks easily could have been strikeouts. 3 of the first 4 pitches to Granderson were well within the strike zone too (count started 3-0). Originally Posted by Holtgetsback

I'm on both Detroit and the under fairly large. My only hesitation is how the pitchers react to such an unusual rest sequence after their short work on Friday but I think that at least one of them will be on tonight and I think it will be Verlander after a momentum gaining win and a charged up home crowd.

Yep, I'm going with the Yankees. This game is evenly matched, even with Verlander at home, so taking the dog is an easy call for me. No way do the Tigers deserve -132. This should be a 100/-110 line. Too many people giving Verlander too much credit.

I've watched Detroit beat up on CC for years as an Indians fan. His ERA vs DET is a full run higher than his career ERA.
