Crimson Tide And Notre
Dame Head to Miami: Will Meet In BCS Championship Game
Alabama will have a chance to capture the BCS Title for the
third time in the last four years when they face the number one team in the
nation, Notre Dame on January 7th in Miami.
There is still more than a month before this game actually
kicks off, but Sportsbooks have already posted an early line, with 5Dimes
listing Alabama as a-10 point favorite, while Pinnacle and the Greek are
showing the Crimson Tide as -7 1/2 point favorites.

This is the first time Notre Dame has been ranked number one
in the BCS Standings in its school history. And the main reason is the team’s
defense, which has proved they can compete with any team in the country – even

Notre Dame is 12-0 straight up on the year, but just 7-5
against the spread. They were listed as an underdog twice this season and
produced a 2-0 record ATS in that spot.
Meanwhile, Alabama has produced a 12-1 straight up record,
but are much worse against the spread, with a 6-7 record. At no point this year
were they ever listed as an underdog in any of their 13 matchups.
The BCS Championship Game can’t get much bigger than this…
Good luck with all of your sports picks and until the bowls begin!
