Comments: This is by far the best online Sportsbook/Casino on the Internet. One word of caution, stay away from their BLACKJACK game, not even close to being fair. That''s my only complaint about BODOG, Other than that this is a top rate organization and are very fair and respectable. It''s really the only Sportsbook/Casino you need to sign up with.

Comments: i had used olympic only, in the past and decided to try bodog because of bonus packages they were offering. i am considered a "small" player and totally understand that but feel they should treat all players in a positive manner. i deposited the funds into my account and played in the poker room, the casino, and the sportsbook. the sportsbook odds were always skewed compared to other books, but i realize that is their choice. the casino always "locked up", or when playing roulette it showed the outcome of the wager as soon as the ball was rolled by crediting your account with the funds. therefore, while it was rolling, if your account wasnt credited, you knew you lost even though the ball was still rolling. finally, when i requested my payouts, i was asked to verify my checking account which i did. i also was aked to verify my credit card, which obviously was as that is how i added funds every time throughout the 2 month process. needless to say, i must admit that my sportsbook experiences have been spoiled by the greek, and will definately be getting my business back, regardless of bonus options!!

Comments: Let me start by saying I am not sure if this a complaint against Bodog or not. I have used a few sportsbooks over the past years and up until about a month ago Bodog was hands down the best. I can see by the recent ratings on here I am not alone. I went from October to March and found ZERO bad ratings for Bodog and there has been 3-4 in November so its not just me. About a month ago they changed there bonus program to be like a normal sportsbook. (before it was the best going) I dont have a problem with that but it also seems theyu changed their customer service or just eliminated it all together. In the past you were able to get a answer from Bodog to a question or complaint within a hour at most. Now well it has been about 48 hours and they still have not answered a question I asked them?? Or worse they answered my origanal question which I disagreed with 100% and asked them to explain it to me so maybe I could understand their view and this is were I have got no response! Oh well, Bodog still has never had a problem with payouts to me and that is most important I suppose. I think they have fair lines also like the poker room but I am not thrilled with the "writing on the wall" of what has been happening over the last month. Maybe they should stick to online gaming and forget about concerts and Bodog trips! Thanks!

Comments: i just thought people should know about this online book....do not bet here...in the race book the odds that bodog shows u are not actual track odds they are odds that bodog is coming up with...in the sportsbook they juice EVERY single game with a xtra point..also on EVERY game they imply the xtra 5% juice so instead of getting -110 on every game u r getting -115 or -105...basically they play with the lines so much that they always have the advantage

Comments: Totally ripped off of my winnings by Bodog.com. Two weeks of faxing have been worthless...seems they throw up a new hurdle daily, I jump it, then they come up with something else...hoping I'll get tired. Can't believe all of the positive stuff that's out there. I think they pay these websites major fees, so reviews like this are squashed. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Comments: Unfairly confiscated my winnings. I've been asked to fax document after document and still no positive result. Excuse is they have to get information about my checking account directly from a particular person at my bank -- not shockingly, my bank is following US privacy laws...Bodog "security" rep claims they get info like this all the time.

Comments: The emailed me: Thank you for your recent payout request dated Thu, Nov 10, 2005. Unfortunately, our records show that you have not met the bonus rollover requirements. Should you decide to proceed with this payout request we will deduct the bonus portion from the account and issue a payout for the amount of $59.00. If you cancel this payout request within 48 hours the bonus portion will remain in your account. Sincerely, Bodog.com Payouts Team" Fine. I just want to close the account. Keep the $30. I want to bet the second at Penn national on Thurs with 15 minutes to post and the next available race is the 6th. I have to lay 115 juice here. Let me take my business elsewhere. This is an 'A' tated book? You gotta be kidding. 48 hours has come and past. Still waiting for my'pending' payout. It's Sunday so it should turn up sometime this week. As for me howerver, I don't believe I'll turn up at this sportsbook again.

Comments: I got scammed several years back by ACESGOLDCASINO. BODOG has always been a model of consistency. Bonus's, fast payouts, a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend them. I hope my ratings will help someone choose a class online casino, and not get scammed as I did.

Comments: BoDog is great for what its name states: if you want to play a dog. If you want to play a dog it is great for this. Their lines come out late, but this is what you want for the dogs. You will get more points that way with this book. Site is very clean and easy to figure out. Money is in your account within 3 minutes of the end of the event. Takes 5 business days or so to get money back in your bank account, but this is pretty standard. 10% reload bonus and 40% referral bonus which is great! Would use this book as my main book, but when I play the dog I go to BoDog!

Comments: First of all I would like to beware you guys who play on line that in certain cases and in a few seconds someone can steal your money.... I opened an account at Bodog in the last week I was a victim of a scam, I felt that my money was decreasing in a big way comparing my loosings. In the texas hold em table happened something amazing, after I won and viewing my credits of a hand, in the second hand I didn't see the amount I believe to have. Before that I watch someone with my nickname using my chips, and I was the only to know the password, so I'm pretty sure that I've been robbed so I don't know who's fault is, and I won't recommend this site to nobody because of my experience and I'm saying this because they checked my records and I felt that they never support me.

Comments:

I recently started using BODOG for sports. I had a good day on the morning games for the NFL and wanted to bet the afternoon games. It was taking forever for my winnings to post so I added another $100 to my account and bet $50 of it. Later that day I requested a $200 payout from my account that had a balance of $402.29 at the time. Remember, I added $100 that morning. I received a message stating my payout could not be processed until my deposit cleared. This message mentioned a deposit of $100 from the previous week as well. Still, the left me with $202.49 in winnings that had nothing to do with my recent deposit. When I called to find out what was going on Rob told me in a very condescending tone that it is not his or BODOG's responsibility to ensure I read the fine print. I told him I did not appreciate the tone and it was definitely not the customer service I had received previous or expected to receive. He replied that he did not see a problem with his tone. I sent a complaint email that Rob answered himself again stating he thought he was fine. I find it interesting that a customer service rep can intercept a complaint on himself and then respond to it. I called to inform BODOG of this and Nyla told me that he should not handle a complaint that was lodged against him and would have a manger contact me. It has been four days since and I have not heard a thing. I have since requested an entire payout and sent another letter stating I would not use them again. I went with betonsports.com instead. It has been a long time since I encountered an employee that rude from a company that depends on customer service to make money. I will let everyone I know that bets on sports on the internet not to use BODOG under any circumstances!

Just as an aside, players who make deposits by echeck / direct deposit should remember that many books will not allow ANY withdrawals until ALL deposits clear.

Comments: I have been using bodog for almost 2 years. The bad thing about them is they post the total odds very late. This is a handicap for most palyers. Also if you love to bet on soccer, you can be dissapointed at Bodog. But on the other hands their advantages are more than their disadvantages. Very fast, unlimited payments without any fees (That makes a huge difference if you compare with others), good customer service, prompt replys to your emails, no fees for deposits and payouts. I can recommend this sportsbook without a doubt.

Comments: I have had good luck with Bodog. They have a nice 10% reload bonus and occassional 20% reloads if you keep your eyes open. Not any problems with payouts to report as well. I set up a checking accountt at washington mutual and it is dedicated to bodog. Withdrawals show up within 1-2 days of request. I have noticed that the lines are not as friendly as when I first started playing with them but they still are okay. They also offer lots of prop bets which I really like.

Comments:

The following is a letter I wrote to Bill Dozer concerning my problem with Bodog. Concerning the severity of the problem my overall grade is a D.

I have a very interesting story to tell regarding BODOG.com. A few months ago my cousin called and told me that he found a good book (we previously used Jaguar which was a disaster that I have previously emailed you about) called Bodog with actual real live people that spoke English that could be understood.

Shortly after that time I opened an account using a referral code he gave me. I was very happy playing there and played both in the sportsbook and the casino. I went on two bad streaks in the casino and got myself down almost $1500. Over the last few weeks I have been pretty hot at football (playing mostly $50-$200 bets) and won most of my money back. I requested a payout of $500 and was delayed due to the ever traditional, "your echeck hasn't cleared yet." The funds had cleared my bank 5 days previous. At any rate, after a few days I was then notified that the funds had cleared, but now I would need the ever popular, "account verification form" along with cancelled checks and photo ID. I provided all of these documents and received a message from security stating that all the documents were received and everything was in good order and that any pending withdrawal requests would be forwarded to the proper dept. and processed. ------ 12/04/2004 Documentation Received (please read) Dear Mr. Libbert Account: 152839 We have received your Bank Account Verification Form fax in good order, and your submitted information concerning your bank account is now verified. Any pending withdrawal requests will be returned to the withdrawal department for processing. Thank you. Sincerely, BoDog.com Security Department --------------- After 3-4 days no pending withdrawals had appeared in my acct. so I contacted customer service today regarding the situation. (This is where the story gets crazy.) I spoke with an agent that looked at my account and then asked if knew of any relatives playing with Bodog. I stated that yes I had a cousin that actually referred me to them. He then proceeded to tell me that we had both signed up on the same computer. I responded that it was impossible that I knew that was UNTRUE. I stated that he has on occasion came to my house and accessed his account or even on occasion played in the Bodog casino or poker room at my house, but that HE DID NOT sign up here, nor does he come here often and access Bodog. He then asked me to hold, he then comes back on the phone and tells me I am going to need to talk with "Carson" in the security dept. I then get connected to Carson who asks if I have friends or relatives with Bodog accounts and I then tell him about my cousin Chris Libbert (my name is Scott Libbert) and my friend Chris Herrick who I just referred. He then proceeds to tell me that WE have a problem, that my cousin has recently closed out his account and that he has closed his bank account that funded his Bodog account and that he owes them money. I was shocked. I proceeded to tell them that although I appreciate them telling me this that I think that it is inappropriate to tell me and that there should be some confidentiality. He then explains that he is telling me because this is causing ME A PROBLEM WITH MY ACCOUNT. He then tells me that they aren't sure that we aren't the same person. I then tell him that I have provided them with documentation to prove who I am and that If they have a problem with him that it is their problem. They proceed to tell me that it is my problem and that none of my funds would be released until the problem with Chris Libbert is resolved. They said I needed to have him call them. I told them I was a good customer who has given them good play and has told many people to use them. (I even was in the process of becoming a Bodog affiliate to refer from my website I am working on.) I explained that this had nothing to do with me. I told them that I would provide any documentation they needed on my end, but that I would not stir up problems with my family by confronting my cousin about his gambling problems or whatever "incident" occurred with them. Further more I explained that I DO NOT HAVE the power over another person to MAKE them call them. We argued back and forth and finally I told them that they might delay my payout, but they WOULD NOT be successful at blackmailing me to work out their problems and that they were losing a good customer and many potential referrals. (I also work in a casino as a dealer.) I then proceeded to throw out the name of your website and the fact that I thought Bill Dozer would surely like to hear my story. Carson then backpedaled a bit and said they would make a "one time exception" and process my withdrawal. I told him to process my entire balance of $1468.81. (I was almost even.) He then told me again that it was one time. I guess they don't want my play. I really can't understand this. After nearly 1/2 hour my account balance was still intact and no withdrawals pending. I was out of patience at this point and called a rep. and asked if a withdrawal was penning on my account and he said no. He said he saw where I had asked for $500 about 2 weeks ago, but it wasn't approved yet. I asked for Carson in security and after a brief wait was told he was "out of the office." I then told them that he better get back in the office and that someone needed to process my entire balance out of my account because my email was going to be sent to Bill Dozer in 15 minutes if they don't comply. (I intended to send one regardless) After another brief wait I was told that my complete withdrawal was being processed. I then verified my account on the internet and it appears that my electronic withdrawal is being processed. I will believe it when I get the money though. I would appreciate anything you could do to help me resolve this matter if it doesn't resolve itself soon. Regardless of the outcome I feel that this behavior is totally unacceptable and that some type of investigation or downgrade of Bodog should occur. What they did was totally unethical . . . telling me I won't get my money until they get their money from a 3rd party that I have no control over. I followed all the rules and provided them with any and all documentation they needed/asked for. I don't believe that they really believe that we are the same person. I think they just want to try to use me as leverage. Even if they did think we were the same person they had every opportunity to ask Chris Libbert for the same documentation they asked me for and apparently they did no do so. (I am not sure) I do know that at some point Chris hit multiple royal flushes in their casino on video poker and withdrew at least $8000 at one point. I can't believe that they would let him withdrawal that money without verification. My account was also active at that time. It would also be noted that there were times that he called me and said he was playing on Bodog (poker or casino) and that I was playing at the same time from my house which would prove that we were different people. At the very least I thing a definite downgrade should be issued based on this experience. The sad thing was that I really liked playing there and now must form a relationship with another book. This experience should be viewed as totally unacceptable behavior. I can't think of any other way to say it. Please don't heisted if you have any questions regarding this incident. I did nothing wrong and will not be blackmailed into "strong arming" family members. Thanks, Scott Libbert BoDog acct. #152839

SBR note 12/08/04: BoDog states that player was questioned due to player referral and the use of the same computer.

Comments: Bodog ripoffs poker players The horror story: In the last 30 days, I made 27 deposits totaling $1,750. When I complained I was told “better luck at the tables, you are going through a losing streak”. The reality is, when you account dips low enough, you experience “bad luck” and then deposit after deposit. I am not sure if they have “inside players” (employees) or if they just contoured their poker program to mirror their blackjack program. The software initially rewards you when you raise your bet, with wins. That deteriorates quickly. When returning to a lower level, your win percentage lessens encouraging bigger bets and, more deposits. I am a mathematician by trade and fully understand that loses are a part of wagering. But I also know the laws of probability intimately and Bodog’s outcome’s are skewed horribly. I even won a hand with King’s over fours and had a system interupt (on Bodogs part) and lost the hand to a pair of Kings????? It’s hard enough to win guys…. Bodog brags about integrity in their mission statement, but the truth will always come About. Don’t find out the hard way!! Be misled no more!! The foolish one…

Comments: I've used BoDog for several years now. I don't have any need to go anywhere else. They're the best in my eyes. When you win a bet, the money is in your account within minutes of the end of a game. And with direct deposits into my bank account, the payouts are in my hands the next day.

Comments: BoDog offers some unheard of incentives such as a 1x roll over, 10% bonus with a 100% free direct bank transfer option. The costs of these perks are conservative betting limits and late opening lines. The benefits may dramatically outweigh the restrictions for many players.
