The sportsbook has owed one bettor $10,000 for over six months claiming they can only offer Money Gram which is not available in Poland where the player resides. The sportsbook advertises Western Union, Neteller, bank drafts and cashiers checks. BetPlatinum has recently outsourced its wagering operation to BetEagle (SBR rating C) but remains in charge of its own banking.

The small sportsbook is the latest independent post-up operation to move to a larger service provider after being unable to maintain services in the new industry climate. Many New York bettors requested clarification from clerks, prompting the sportsbooks to update and/or clarify wagering rules.
Matchbook (SBR rating A-) updates baseball wagering rules
Matchbook adds text stating moneyline wagers on baseball games that are suspended will be graded based on the score of the last full inning, should play be halted in the top half of the inning with the home team trailing.
BetOnline (SBR rating B+) clarifies baseball moneyline grading BetOnline removes irrelevant text about the game being official for grading purposes after 8.5 (if home team is winning) or 9 innings, leaving text stating moneyline baseball bets are official after 5 complete innings or 4.5 innings if the home team is winning.
BetPlatinum (SBR rating C-) removes contradicting wording to clarify that MLB games must go 4.5 (if home team is winning) or 5 innings to declare moneyline winner; removes text suggesting 9 innings of play is required for all grading.

The bettor tells SBR that after waiting three days for his Neteller payment, he was sent only $1500 of the $2500 requested. Platinum has a history of falling behind on withdrawals, but recently told SBR that theses issues have been addressed by its new management. Platinum is expected to update SBR on the status of the remaining funds tomorrow.

"I saw the report posted on your website regarding the payout delays with BetPlatinum. Actually, I am having the same problem. I originally requested $2500 payout, but so far I have only received $2000. I know $500 might not be a lot. But I have been so frustrated about the way how they handle this matter. They kept telling me the money is going to be in my Neteller account next day. It has been almost one week (I started to request the payout since last Friday 2/17) and I still have not received the remaining $500."

SBR has confirmed that at least one player has been paid in full today. Platinum states that they can process payouts through methods other than Neteller. Those waiting for a withdrawals should contact SBR.

The book initially disputed the validity of the wager based on a phone conversation where the clerk purportedly told the player that his account was closed. The parlay bet was placed online the following day. SBR no longer has any pending claims against Platinum Sports.

Platinum claims the player was verbally informed that his account was closed but he was still somehow able to place a 3-team winning parlay. SBR expects Platinum to pay the player for his winning investment, or to provide a recorded phone conversation proving the house definitively told him his action was no longer welcome. Platinum’s new management has been willing to resolve all other payout complaints which has earned an upgrade and an exit from the SBR BLACK list. Further upgrade pending upon the outcome of this player issue.
