BetAtlas (SBR rating B-) players have been moved to sister sportsbook BetHorizon (SBR rating B-), under the HorizonSports S.A. platform, which uses BLR Technologies software. The former BetAtlas site now redirects to agent/PPH website Wagergolf.com. Any players with balance discrepancies after logging into BetHorizon are asked to fill out a sportsbook complaint form.

BetJoint is a Costa Rica-based sportsbook utilizing the International Data Solutions (IDS) wagering call center. BetJoint is owned by Mark Roberts who previously worked for
BetAtlas (SBR rating B-). BetJoint is an independent sportsbook and is not affiliated with Atlas. This book and all IDS-serviced sportsbooks use ASI software.

Gary Thomson, formerly with BetCRIS(SBR rating A+), was responsible for the website’s facelift and procedural changes. Both Mr. Thompson and ownership tell SBR they agreed to part ways due to differences in the direction of the company.

New veteran management is responsible for much of these changes and tells SBR that Atlas is fully backed by the Horizon Sports Group and will be the primary brand the company will use as it refocuses on the post-up market. 06.21.2005 (03:24 AM CST)Atlas International fingered for dishonest marketing. OSGA states that BetAtlas has published promotional flyers with a false endorsement from their company. Atlas management said it would be issuing an apology and investigating the source of the marketing mistake.
Atlas has been given an initial rating of D+. The sportsbook has been operating online for over two years but has only recently began a somewhat aggressive marketing campaign. Atlas uses BLR software and is hosted by Horizon Sports.
