Comments: I set up an account on Allprosportsbook.com. I deposited about 1000.00. The second I tried to deposit the money the charge hit my credit card, no questions asked and I was up and ready to go. A few weeks later I tried to make a withdrawal. I got an e-mail from Allprosportsbook and they said that the address on my checking account did not match the address that they had on file. I double checked with my bank and they said everything was fine. I told Allpro to check again and they said it still didn't match so they couldn't make a deposit to me. I asked them to just credit the card I initially used and they ignored my request. I asked them again and again to check with the bank again and check the address again and all I got were cut and paste responses about their "policy". Eventually somebody e-mailed me and said it could be taken care of if I gave them a copy of my drivers license. So I faxed them a copy of the license. After they got that, then they asked that I fax them a copy of my bank statement. Not a printout from the internet, but a real bank statement that clearly showed all my account numbers. After all of this I tried to file a complaint on them with the BBB. In order to file a complaint however, you need the companies mailing address. Here is a copy of the chat transcript from me trying to get the company mailing address: Please wait for a site operator to respond. You are now chatting with ''Lional'' Lional: How may I help you today? Ben: does allprosportsbook have a mailing address I could have? Lional: WE generally only deal with your queries via Live Person, email or phone Lional: so mailing a query is not really applicable Ben: I still need an address. Maybe a corporate headquarters address. Lional: Why do you want an address? Ben: You have my address. Why can''t I have yours? Lional: We are not going to provide you with an address if we can dela with this issue over the phone, via live chat or via email Ben: OK can I have a phone number that is not a 1800 number please? Ben: I have been trying to deal with an issue with you guys over e-mail for about a week and I am getting nowhere. All I get are cut and paste replies from your staff. Lional: The only number is a 1800 number as that is the customer service number Lional: 1800 996 5152 Lional: plus it is toll free Ben: I would need a regular phone number or an address please. The place where you go to work every day. That building has to have an address doesn''t it? Lional: Sorry Lional: We are not going to provide you with an address Lional: This is an online gaming company Ben: What is the reason behind not giving me an address. I''m not a disgruntled gambler who is going to knock on the door and try to get my money back. Lional: and we deal with queries online over the phone, email or live chat Lional: You can call 1800 996 5152 Ben: Yes, but there has to be an address for a brick and morter building where the on-line company conducts business Lional: as that is a toll free number Ben: will they give me the address over the phone? Lional: Sorry, we are not going to accept a query via the post Ben: I am not going to mail you anything, I just need to address of the company. I have given you over $1,000.00 I think I am entitled to a street address or at least what country you are in. Lional: We have a number of offices worldwide and I only know the full address of this office which deals with Live chat/email queries Ben: OK what is the address to your office then? Lional: I do not know why knowing our address is going tp help you Ben: Is there a company policy that forbids you from giving it to me? Lional: This is not the office that processes wagers/deposits or withdrawals Lional: No, but you have a reason for the address query Lional: you need to have a reason Ben: If I am going to continue to do business with a company that is on-line, I would like to know they have a hard address. It would make me feel better and not be worried about them taking my money and running Ben: Your reluctance to give me an address makes me think your company is hiding something, After that he stopped responding to me. I could request a chargeback for my initial $1,000 deposit but then I will lose the 150.00 that I have won over the last couple weeks. It's probably that or lose the entire $1,000. Moral of the story... Allprosportsbook.com is bad. Find another site if you are looking for a place to wager online.

Comments: This is the last message I wrote to AllPro before I cancel my account: I just finished chatting with one of your online customer service representatives. It was about a promotion you ran on 9/21 regarding a $25.00 money back guarantee inside of your casino. It said any moneys lost up to $25.00 would be refunded to my account as of 9/22. I got some lame BS about problems crediting the accounts and I wouldn't have it until tommorrow. This was unacceptable. Using a wagering site like yours is completely based on trust. There are way too many sites like yours to choose from to have a representative tell me there is nothing he can do. If I win a large wager, will I have a problem with it "crediting my account?". That's the question that will come up in the future.

Comments: In February 2003 I won $103.00 and asked to have it wired to my bank account. I received the reply email saying that it had been deposited, but it never was. I contacted AllPro.com several times concerning this matter and they kept telling me it was a problem with the Merchant Bank and that they would notify me when the situation was resovled. I never got that notification. I chalked this up to a glitch and kept playing; having numerous successful transactions to my bank account which rebuilt my confidence in AllPro.com's system. However, last week I hit a streak of luck and won close to $1100.00 which I then wired to my bank account. This time I received no confirmation email and the funds still have yet to be deposited into my account. I have contacted AllPro.com and they are giving me the same answer as before. What sort of power do we have as players to hold these businesses accountable and protect ourselves? There has to be something.
