Alliance Sportsbook (SBR rating C-) has been added to the SBR ratings guide. On 18 January 2012, SBR initially noted that low-ranked sportsbooks operated on the same web server in the past. SBR has since confirmed that the sportsbook is an independent entity run by a veteran industry manager. Alliance is a new sportsbook that is currently invite-only, headquartered in Costa Rica and using the DGS wagering software. Players with feedback can write to SBR.

Alliance Sportsbook is hosted on the same web server as sportsbook Sterling Sports, also known as WagePage.com. Alliance is targeting players with 100% deposit bonus offers, and claims to have ten years of industry inexperience. SBR will attempt to speak with management to discuss the book's past, as well as any association with Sterling Sports.

07.20.2004 (11:01 AM CST)Several sites that originally planned to attend have dropped out. It's no coincidence that these so-called player advocate sites tout slow paying books and wanted no part of any alliance that advocates not accepting advertising from sportsbooks that are dangerous to players. SBR will be offering free advertising and traffic to selected player advocate websites that agree not to promote slow pay and no pay sportsbooks for the entire 2004 football season.
07.01.2004 (02:18 PM CST)This mostly fragmented group will meet for the first time to explore ways to work together. SBR to press for commitments to limit websites from promoting sportsbooks known to be in financial trouble. Agendas by other participants are expected to include sportsbook financial protection alliances, sharing of information and solving player complaints.
