Four new WSEX (SBR rating D-) slow-pay complaints have been filed. The WSEX player debt has now surpassed $653,0000. In SBR's last report, WSEX was continuing to provide generic updates with promises of making good. The disgraced sportsbook has pinned the blame on processors rather than accepted responsibility for the ongoing payout blunders. WSEX management has again withdrawn from regular updates with SBR dispute analysts. SBR asks all sportsbook players that have not done so to write to help@sportsbookreview.com.
WSEX Sportsbook to player: Thank you for your query and again I apologize for any delays in correspondence. We are continuing payments to clients during this month. I will most definitely do my best to have your payment out by Christmas. Unfortunately, to clear up this back log, which existed for over a year now; will take into February 2012 for some clients. The lost of major accounts and lack of new processing companies continue to be the major contributing factor for this ongoing delay. Again, I understand the inconvenience caused to you and sincerely apologize for this extensive delay.
Prior to PartyGaming's merge with Bwin, PartyGaming refused to cooperate with SBR citing data protection laws. PartyGaming would provide only cursory background of complaints, unable to share specific evidence with SBR in support of its conclusions. After the PartyGaming/Bwin merger, the consolidated company began to address all sportsbook disputes in a prompt and fair manner.
A common complaint of both PartyGaming and Bwin users has been each sportsbook's identity verification. PartyGaming sportsbooks---like all sportsbooks with a bonus model---enforces KYC (know your customer) requirements. SBR has confirmed multiple instances of forgery carried out by a ring of Ukraine-based scammers who set their sights on the Austrian bookmakers. SBR's biggest concern in the past has been legitimate users being mislabeled as scammers due to their region or incidental details.
Bwin itself is one of the most financially stable sportsbook companies in the world. Legitimate users funds are not considered to be at risk. SBR will continue to advise PartyGaming/Bwin on player handling and sportsbook complaints. Bwin's sportsbook rating has been upgraded to C+.

Parlaymakers (SBR rating F) is the latest sportsbook to collapse without paying their players. The scam sportsbook was downgraded to F by SBR on February 28th after going off-line. Parlaymakers did not provide notice to players that the domain would be taken down, and ceased replying to both players and SBR shortly after the loss of their biggest processor, Gold-Pay.
The niche sportsbook had an unusual business model that allowed players to place teasers and parlays at prices offered by Matchbook (SBR rating B-). On February 20th, SBR published a report advising players to request their funds after communication brokedown from the sportsbook. Parlaymakers "Max" relied on word of mouth to bring in business for the small sportsbook, initially paying players and spamming forums to promote the brand. All future ventures started by Parlaymakers Max and associates will be added to SBR's scam sportsbook blacklist.
Parlaymakers players are asked to submit their details via sportsbook complaint form to SBR. While players are unlikely to be paid in the short-term, SBR has assisted some players in receiving payment from scam sportsbooks that experienced success after rebranding, one such case occurred when Bet33 (SBR rating D-) paid a player who had been stiffed $5,000 following Apex Sportsbook's (SBR rating F) collapse five years prior. | Parlaymakers scam discussion

The Jazz Sportsbook Group, which includes ABC
Islands (SBR rating C), LooseLines
(SBR rating C), and JazzSports (SBR
rating C) currently has three outstanding slow-pay complaints from players totaling $11,500 in funds owed. A manager stated that one of the payout requests, which was reportedly made by a player via e-mail on June 1st was not received. Jazz has discontinued its live chat service, players that wish to withdraw funds must log their requests through e-mail. The player states he requested $2500 to be paid to his Moneybookers account. Players 2 and 3 requested $4000 and $5000 respectively via check in the first week of June. Three other players who wrote to SBR for sportsbook assistance allegedly received payments via Moneybookers. SBR is confirming the payments with these players and will monitor their progress in requesting the rest of their balances. Jazz has claimed it is expecting a bank wire to hit their Moneybookers account to allow for additional eWallet payments. All sportsbook within the Jazz Sportsbook Group were downgraded to C on June 1st for difficulties processing eWallet payments in their listed time-frame.

Players are sure to test that statement with an influx of withdrawal requests. BetFirstClass is a small sportsbook that became known after advertising on a betting forum. Earlier today SBR reported that YouWager (SBR rating B) was reportedly facing a denial-of-service attack. Since that time, Legends Sportsbook (SBR rating A+), Dimeline Sportsbook (SBR rating D), and Bet33 (SBR rating D-) have also encountered website attacks. Earlier in the day there were reports from SBRforum readers that BetCRIS (SBR rating A+) was down as well, but access to BetCRIS has since been restored.
Some sportsbooks like BetPhoenix (SBR rating B+) have implemented a security text code (captcha) users see when visiting their website. This diverts users from random DoS website traffic.
The denial of service attacks are caused by excessive requests to a website's server which in turn leaves little or no resources for legitimate user traffic. The sportsbook's information and databases are not "hacked" or compromised. Bettors can find a list of all LiveChat links here as well as all sportsbook phone numbers. 06.03.2009 (05:57 PM CST)GoldVictory no-pays continue; LGA of Malta states it is taking legal action
GoldVictory (SBR Rating F) players continue to report no-pay complaints to SBR. The F rated sportsbook currently owes over a reported $100,000 in player funds. The Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta (LGA) stated that legal action has been taken against a director of Gold Victory Limited. The criminal proceedings are to take place in the Maltese Law Courts.
“Please note that one of the Directors of Gold Victory Limited is currently facing criminal proceedings in the Maltese Law Courts. The Lotteries and Gaming Authority feels that any further statements on its part could compromise the current legal proceedings, hence it will not comment pending the resolution of the court case. Once the proceedings are decided the Authority will be in a position to update the public with the developments of the case.”
Players should be aware that the involvement of the LGA and legal proceedings may not have any impact on their cases. The LGA was unable to assist when Maltese-licensed BetChance (SBR Rating F) stiff many of their players and BetChance remains in operation.
GoldVictory has ceased taking action on any wagers and displays the following message on their website:
"We regret to inform you that for the time being all Sportsbook and Casino games have been suspended temporarily. We are working with the Lotteries and Gaming Authority of Malta (LGA) to verify
the precise nature of the situation.

05.23.2009 (11:39 PM CST)BetCities and IrishGambling enter SBR Rating Guide at F
The sportsbooks are on a platform and turnkey service called GameCities. Gamecities is a sub-licensee of Futurebet. On Thursday SBR reported that a BetCities player was robbed of his winnings. New victims are likely to come forward. SBR will investigate the small sportsbook company host and index related sportsbooks in the SBR rating Guide. GameCities tries to make money by offering a poor sportsbook product to website owners. After they sell the setup and service to new "sportsbook owners" support may stop or is very poor. Its parent company uses the same scam on larger players and has robbed its webmasters leaving them unable to pay their players. | Fake testimonials from Gamecities.com:

C-) cancels bet "because of injury"
On February
3rd DimeLine Sportsbook canceled a wager on the Denver Nuggets -6
versus the San Antonio Spurs because of an injury report that caused
the line to change. The spread jumped across all sportsbooks to as high as -13. Dimeline customer service cited an error as reason for canceling
the bet. The player rightfully argues that his bet was canceled unfairly. The bet was not void because it was placed on an erroneous line but because he
had a good position on a play before information was known that would
change the odds across the betting market. SBR to contact DLS management. | Forum discussion

06.28.2008 (11:57 PM CST)New Bet911 (SBR rating D-) player complains of stalled payouts
The sportsbook was downgraded to D- earlier this month after two players filed new payout complaints. Bet911 shows signs of trying to survive until it can obtain funds from new players at the start of football season. Like
USDbet (SBR rating F), the small sportsbook's marketing efforts were directed to players on posting forums. Bet911 advertisement banners currently promote a 100% bonus.
Player: I currently have over $10000 in my account with them (account xxxxxx same e mail). I have been a customer for several years but this seems to count for nothing. I send e mail requests asking for a breakdown of how and when I will get paid which either remain unanswered or get misdirected within Bet911 (apparently). If they do reply it is never to my question but offering me the 'opportunity' to request a payout. Woi I'm so honoured. Their 'opportunities' have resulted in me receiving only $2000 in the last four months.
03.29.2008 (02:25 PM CST)BetOnline (SBR rating A-) also battling website attack. Management tells SBR they are working diligently to resolve the matter and expect to have a solution in place shortly. Players may call 1-800-841-9751 for customer service, or 1-888-238-5808 for wagering or use the

02.25.2008 (08:51 PM CST)Player vs. BetJoint (SBR rating C-) The player used his free-play
bonus to make a winning three-team parlay that netted him $4,600. After winning an additional $2,000 and requesting a payout, BetJoint voided the winning bet citing a wagering rule that says players cannot bet both sides of the same game when using free-play funds. After the bettor won the first two legs of this parlay he hedged the third leg using his balance to ensure a profit. The player argues that the controversial rule does not refer to parlays, is hidden, and is meant to trap free-play winners. Players are reminded to read all sportsbook rules and understand their ramifications. Vague and jumbled rules often result in disputes due to different interpretations. SBR to suggest BetJoint compromise, offering to grade the player's wager as a two-team parlay and do a better job outlining its bonus terms.
BetJoint: You are allowed to bet both sides of the same game, PROVIDING THAT IT IS WITH YOUR OWN CASH AND NEVER INCLUDES THE USE OF ANY ‘FREE PLAY’ CREDIT. Any violations of this rule will result in both/all bets on that event being cancelled and those bets will be considered null and void. In such instances, the cash play money will be refunded to customer's account and the customer will automatically forfeit all remaining Free Play credits in his/her account.
Correction: BetJoint tells SBR that details reported are incorrect. The player hedged his free-play parlay wager with a cash bet which had won. BetJoint states that it is their policy to cancel the hedging cash bet or second opposing wager. Management also stated that "if the free-play had it won would have been paid to the player" and "if the cash bet had lost the risked amount would have been refunded."
11.16.2007 (08:32 PM CST)SBR comments on upgrades for Sportsbetting.com, BetUSA and Linesmaker Ownership for these three Sportsbook.com-hosted books have agreed to make decisions independent of
Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-) and in a manner that is deemed to be fair to users. Each book has addressed old complaints and states that it is committed to addressing future issues. These sportsbooks offer email service that by-pass the Sportsbook.com customer service center. Sportsbook.com has allowed a long list of player complaints to build. The list includes verified reports of outright theft and cheating on individual bets. SBR will publish a detailed report of offenses once all data is gathered and discussions on remaining issues have concluded. SportsBetting and Linesmaker have been upgraded from D+ to C-, BetUSA from C- to C. Privately owned Sportsbook.com-hosted sportsbooks that would like to clarify their position and address pending issues should
contact SBR.
Note: All sportsbook.com-serviced books rely on the operation for its financial processing. The group was unable to pay some non-U.S. players for over five months earlier in 2007.
11.05.2007 (11:46 PM CST)BetCSL (SBR rating F) and DragonWager (SBR rating F) victims asked to contact SBR
BigJuicyOdds (SBR rating D+) has stated that it intends to cover the balances of stiffed players from these two small sportsbooks. Balance credits are expected to be received next week and, like the
SBGglobal (SBR rating D-) relief offer, will carry a twenty time roll-over requirement without a deposit. BetCSL and DragonWager were both serviced by the same hosting and software company chosen by BigJuicyOdds. BJO is currently under the microscope as victims from SBG try the new book after accepting a bailout offer.
10.22.2007 (08:43 PM CST)e-Wallet Omega Internet Solutions closes with player funds
One OIS user reports having $2,500 with the e-wallet when it went off-line a week ago. All sportsbooks using the service have reported being paid in full. Former Omega management is welcome to write to
Assistance@SportsBookReview.com for this player's contact information.
10.11.2007 (11:10 PM CST)Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D+) confiscates winnings made from correlated parlay bets dating back over one month. SBR is currently investigating complaints submitted by four players who were informed via email that thousands would be deducted from their balances because winnings derived from parlays where the legs of the parlay are "linked." Wagering on Under the total score and the Underdog spread would be an example of a correlated 2-team parlay. Some sportsbooks use their software to prohibit these types of wagers. SBR is also investigating a separate claim made by a player who states that over $80,000 was confiscated because he utlized
different sportsbook websites within the
Sportsbook.com family (Jazette ltd Group) of sportsbooks. This has been allowed and often encouraged by the different brands in the past. SBR will list updates for all Sportsbook.com complaints ranging from instances of incorrectly graded wagers to missing balances from sportsbook brands that defected from the Sportsbook.com operation to other white label services.
09.12.2007 (08:43 PM CST)BetPlatinum (SBR rating C-) moved to BetEagle (SBR rating C) servers; expected to join operation as turnkey sportsbook. BetPlatinum has been unable to pay some international players for over four months and currently only offers MoneyGram as a payout option. The small sportsbook is the latest independent post-up operation to move to a larger service provider after being unable to maintain services in the new industry climate. Platinum Sports International began taking deposits in 2002.
06.16.2007 (01:26 PM CST)SBR to launch sportsbook TOS monitor
SBR's new program will automatically scan all sportsbook wagering rules and general terms of service pages and then report all rule changes and updates made by the sportsbook. The feature is designed to prevent and help with disputes where a player with a complaint claims the bookmaker's rules have been altered to put it in a better position, and to give both sportsbooks and players the ability to view the most complete and transparent policies. Players will also be able to sign up for email alerts and see all changes made to his/her book's rules.
05.02.2007 (12:42 PM CST)BookTheBet (SBR rating F) victim owed $7,000. After repeated requests for a withdrawal over the course of nearly a year, the player agreed to wager his funds ten times before making another payout request. The player continued to win and remains unable to redeem his funds.
Player: "I have now been trying on year to get the rest of a withdraw from Bookthebet," "I december Tony send me an proposal of an new 10 times roll over, which I accpeted after some time. I have made the new 10 times roll over, but Tony will still would not make a withdraw even a small on. If you look at below mail you can see that Tony acknowledge that he not had send me al the reuested whitdraw."

HI! I have a list of 2.5 million current gamblers. 60% are non USA and 40% USA. We are a small sportsbook and do not have the resources to market to this list the proper way. The list includes names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, balances, average bets, account numbers, deposits, and other information. I paid well over what I am asking for it. I am just trying to recover a portion of the money I spent. I am asking $7,000.00. the the complete list. Please contact me at anthony@bookthebet.com Thanks! (source:

10.31.2006 (04:31 PM CST)Bet365 (SBR rating A+) players complain of inadequate rule change notification. SBR has received three complaints from users who say they were unaware of recent rule changes that were the difference between winning and losing wagers. Bet365 changed their wagering rules, making overtime in all basketball leagues count for over-under wagers. Most Bet365 users are likely finding out about rule change when their bet on a game that went into overtime is graded.
Beginning January 1st, 2007, all sportsbooks on SBR’s Recommended List will be required to offer a ’policy updates’ log or another method of alerting players of policy changes.
Player: "European basketball has never counted overtime! How am i supposed to know?? Should I refresh the rules page along with the odds?? At least Pinnacle announces the new rule at top of main page and other book will email you. If Bet 365 would highlight all rule changes for that month it would at least be reasonable to scan over a book of rules. This is crap".

Former employees of BetOnSports (SBR rating D-) are selling client lists containing all user information originally provided to the book. Other sportsbooks and their third party marketing departments use this information to spam potential customers. Some player databases may also include client passwords, which can be dangerous for those using one universal password for all sportsbooks. Bettors should use a unique password for each individual online account.
06.06.2006 (11:59 AM CST)NoJuice Sports (SBR rating D) blaming payout delays on three lost bank wires, totaling $40,000. Management states that bank checks and bank wires are offered; however normal processing may require an additional week. Customer service tells SBR that other instant-transfer methods such as Moneybookers and InstaDebit are only available for deposits citing a "new processing system". NoJuice has been downgraded from D+ to D.
Note: SBR expects a rise in payout complaints this week after Neteller informed Costa Rica bookmakers that they would no longer accept emergency/instant account-to-account tranfers through Costa Rican banks. All merchant deposits must be sent to Neteller’s bank account in the United Kingdom via standard wire. This change may affect the liquidity of small sportsbooks, and require multiple merchant accounts be adequately funded.
05.28.2006 (06:27 PM CST)BetCascade (SBR rating A-) to manage new brands. More than one small sportsbook is exploring the possibility of turning control over to Cascade’s management team; with one system migration expected to take place as soon as tomorrow. Players will have the option of benefiting from Cascade’s -105 pricing and baseball dimeline immediately.

12.22.2005 (11:38 PM CST)asking 2wagerSports and UWagerSports victims to throw good money after bad? BookTheBet’s owner is calling customer lists from these scam sportsbooks, offering huge "bailout" bonuses. One player reports being offered $8,900 if he is willing to deposit $2,000 and wager the total amount ten times. Players should avoid all sportsbooks offering too-good-to-be-true bonuses as well as sportsbooks who are giving out U.S. phone numbers.
12.21.2005 (10:12 AM CST)Player slow-paid by AllSportsCasino(SBR rating D). The bettor’s account was closed nearly one month ago after he was labeled a "wiseguy". He has been waiting for his balance of $1103 since. This marks the fourth payout complaint form the Phoenix Rising Group. Management claims that "accounting is backlogged" due to the "holidays", "Neteller upgrades" and a "server outage".
Phoenix Rising is a very small sportsbook that operates with a customer service staff of two. The book was likely hurt by the public’s success this football season. These recent payout complaints are the first from this book’s players. ASC has been covered in the SBR rating guide for over two years.

Players should stay with sportsbooks rated B+ or higher who realize that bookmaking is a long term investment.
