SBR review: ABCislands.ag

ABCsportsbook (SBR rating D-) account holders moved under Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-); ABC Sportsbook closes.  ABC was already operated by the Costa Rica-based Sportsbook.com Group and used the same World Gaming software. Bonus and wagering disputes have been common in past Sportsbook.com Group account transfers. Players with feedback are welcome to email SBR. 

ABCsportsbook is not to be confused with ABCislands (SBR rating B) of the DPT Sports Group.

DPT Sports Group to change software Sunday 10 pm Pacific 
ABC Islands (SBR rating B), Jazz Sports (SBR rating B) and Loose Lines (SBR rating B-) will be down at 10:00 pm Pacific on Sunday. The sportsbooks will move from BLR Software to the DGS Software Platform. Players are advised to record account history and balance information in order to ensure the data migration process will be completed with minimal delays. DPT expects a smooth transition and to be fully operational by Monday morning.

BetRuss (SBR rating C-) accounts acquired by DPT Sports Group
BetRuss.com now redirects to LooseLines (SBR rating B-). Looselines is a part of the group of sites that include better known B rated books ABCislands and Jazz Sports. BetRuss management tells SBR that the decision  to move under Looselines was made because the BetRuss brand and its marketing team was "fighting an uphill battle" due to the stigma of the Absolute Poker controversy. BetRuss was founded by a former Absolute Poker manager. Looselines will be financially backed by DPT Sports but operate independently with its own lines and management. Looselines will move from the -108 lineset that was offered until today to BetRuss standard -110 vig. Bettors who were using Looselines prior to today will be able to use the -108 lineset by accessing their accounts through ABCislands. LooseLines, which will focus on recreational players, has been lowered to B- as it adapts to the BetRuss staff and operating policies. Looselines management tells SBR that the migration was already completed in the middle of the night.

Jazz and ABCislands downgraded from B+ to B yesterday due to listing unavailable transfer options. Two non-US players have complained that they would not have deposited if they had known that book-to-book transfers with Pinnacle Sports (SBR rating A+) and Bookmaker (SBR rating A+), as well as Neteller transfers were not available as advertised. Some players have taken a check paying the additional fees while having to accept the smaller transfer limits. Jazz plans to make both of these options available by the end of next week and will be reevaluated at that time.
