BetAnySports, LessJuice, and ChineseBookie migration to 5Dimes (SBR rating A) platform complete; upgraded from B- to B. A large group of non-English speaking bettors were quickly moved from the old platform to the new system in the 5Dimes building with few complaints and good communication. The small amount of feedback received by SBR suggests players are please by an expanded wagering menu.

Q: SBR, I have gotten two copies of InsidersBettingDigest. It has BetUs as its sportsbook of the year and backs them financialy. They say "This year there is Only One Sportsbook That We Are 100% Confident In Recommending. As proof of our confidence in this sportsbook, we will be extending the Insiders’ Betting Digest Guarantee and financially stand behind our pick, good for up to $100,000 against non-payment due to lack of funds or business failure" Is this magazine for real? Thanks Dan
A: Hi Dan, Insiders Betting Digest has been giving BetUs that "award" for at least four years. The mag is actually owned by BetUS marketing. Before BetUs consolidated its sister books under BetUS.com, it had a Top 4 list of BetUs, SportsGambling, BetReduction and OmniSports. You were rightfully skeptical. BetUS is currently rated D+.

BayAreaCasino enters the SBR rating guide at D-. BAC is part of the GoTo Entertainment Group. GoTo's flagship sportsbook, Enterbet was lowered to D- in July after a third slow-paid player was put on a payment plan. The sportsbook is located in San Jose, Costa Rica.

SBR comments on today's rating changes
BetWay upgraded from F to D-. The rating change reflects the return of confiscated deposits to two players. The sportsbook, which refused to return confiscated winnings and earned bonuses, remains on the SBR blacklist.
BlueSquare downgraded from A- to B+. Bluesquare players complained in June that the sportsbook was using bait-and-switch tactics with advertised promotions. BlueSquare had offered to match a wager with a free bet up to £100 but refused to give more than £5 after the bet was made. The book claims it reserves the right to change their side of the deals and has refused to reconsider the position.

Internet1x2 (SBR rating D+) tells SBR it needs until the end of the month to pay player $4,250 that was originally requested in 2007. The sportsbook has ignored repeated questions on why there will be further delay while communicating with SBR through email. SBR will note any new reported Internet1x2 complaints immediately.

5Dimes and VietBet management comment on Vietbet's move to the 5Dimes platform
5Dimes (SBR rating A): At this time, the Asian sites are a mere shell of all the 5Dimes extended offerings beyond the sportsbook. In the coming days and weeks, all 5Dimes offerings, including all four casinos, the poker networks, 100% payout sports pools, and all other extras will be made available to these added sites. The 5Dimes, ChineseBookie, VietBet, and BetAnySports family already have a strong presence with its international market offerings. Expect these offers to only expand over time as the sportsbooks settle int under the 5Dimes system.

Vietbet (SBR rating B) on Youwager (SBR rating B), which supported the Asian-facing book until this week: Since the beginning, the management and staff at First Fidelity have been incredibly supportive. RebateWager enters the SBR rating guide at C. RebateWager is a new sportsbook from the BlackDog Group. The sportsbook, using Digital Gaming Software, is located in Heredia, Costa Rica.

SCAM ALERT: BetCascade-operated PlayFast launches sportsbook
PlayFast.tv served as a contest site from no-pay sportsbook, BetCascade (SBR rating F). The site now functions as an advertisement for new sportsbook and gaming site, PlayFast.com. The sportsbook is hosted on BetCascade servers and uses the Cascade phone number. BetCascade continues to take wagers and market to new players despite being insolvent and owing millions to users.

ChineeseBookie, VietBet and BetAnySports leave YouWager, join 5Dimes Group
The sportsbook staff is currently importing account details to the 5Dimes (SBR rating A) platform. All players should be able to access their ChineseBookie (SBR rating B-), VietBet (SBR rating B) and BetAnySports (SBR rating B) through these websites, or through 5Dimes.com, by tomorrow morning. SBR will reevaluate the sportsbook properties after observing the migration process and discussing company structure with 5Dimes. 5Dimes ownership tells SBR that the Asian-servicing sportsbooks are fully backed by 5Dimes.
