Hi! First I wanted to say that I am a fairly large sports better with accounts at about 12 bookmakers. So far, I have had only limited problems with any of my books but as the days dragged into weeks trying to withdraw funds from BetBookie, I searched the internet for any blogs of complaints and found your site. EXCELLENT info! I wish I had this months ago. From now on I plan to use yor site religiously to help determine which books to use, avoid, and how cautious to be with my money accumulation at any given book.

However, BETSHOP reserves the right not to accept bets for amounts over 100 GBP (or 150 EUR, 150 USD), if not previously requested over the phone by contacting our Customer Service Team and authorized by e-mail by BETSHOP. An authorization code will be given for each authorized bet.

5.3 If repeated bets are entered to evade the maximum limits “bet amount “ normally allowed for an individual bet all bets can be made void, even after that the events have taken place.

5.4 Bets placed online with Betshop.com are tax free.

5.5 Credit bets are not accepted. The necessary funds must be on deposited on to your betting account before the bet will be accepted by Betshop.com.

5.6 Bets are only accepted on the events displayed on the Betshop.com web-site. Betshop.com reserves the right to decline all or part of any bet offered.

5.7 All times displayed on our site will be U.K. (GMT/BST) unless otherwise specified.

5.8 Dates and times of all sport events published on the website are merely indicative. Official dates and times issued by the relevant sport federations will apply.

5.9 Bets will only be accepted until the start of the sporting event or some other time set by Betshop.com. For live betting events, bets will be accepted until is closed by Betshop.com.

5.10 If Betshop.com accidentally accepts a bet after the time in 5.9, then Betshop.com reserves the right to declare the bet void. The stakes will be refunded to the customer account.

5.11 All odds displayed are for information purposes only. All odds are therefore subject to change and only the odds at the actual time a bet is accepted shall be valid.

5.12 The "minimum selection" is the minimum amount of forecast required for the validity of the bet. Sometimes clients will not be allowed to bet on one single event, but only on a combination related to same type of event. The minimum number of selections required may vary according to the event. The minimum selection requested for the bet is clearly stated on website.

5.13 Betshop.com reserves the right to accept or refuse any bet and to make ambiguous bets void, even after the event has taken place. Betshop.com may also partially accept a bet by reducing the stake. You will then have the choice to place or not the modified bet. Where a selection is made void, in "single" bets the stakes will be returned. In "accumulative" bets the stake will stand for the remaining selections. If following to some events made void, the number of selections in a bet is below the minimum number required for a specific betting type the whole bet will be voided and the betting sum will be credited to your account.

5.14 Multiple bets (i.e. Specials) cannot contain incompatible selections. Should this inadvertently occur, and our system accepts the bet, all bets will result lost.

5.15 Each bet will be given an individual number shown on your bet confirmation screen. The allocation of this number is confirmation that the bet has been recorded, and bets are not valid without such a number.

5.16 Customers must register their bet requests as individuals. Repeated bet requests containing the same event or similar selections from the same or different customers may be subsequently deemed void in the following circumstances:
5.16.1 Where Betshop.com believes the customers are acting in collusion or as a syndicate.

5.18 You must ensure that he understands the terms of the registration of the bet request, including the Rules section, before you confirm the placing of the bet. It is your responsibility to ensure that all details of its bets are correct. Once a bet is confirmed then changes will not be permitted and all rules applied.

5.19 Betshop.com will not allow nor accept responsibility for any palpable errors or omissions in respect of the posting of prices, selections (runners, players, teams, etc), times or results despite our every effort to ensure total accuracy. Notwithstanding Rule 5.18 above, we reserve the right to correct obvious errors (for example an incorrect price or voiding bets struck after an event is underway). The term 'incorrect price' here does not mean the odds as a forecast or judgment, but an error of transcription or reversal of the odds. In such cases, the selection(s) in question will be voided.

5.20 All results will be as published and confirmed by the Official Body (such as Uefa, UK Press Association, etc.), unless otherwise stated elsewhere in our rules. Where the event is not covered we shall use the tournament/sports official website.

5.21 Unless otherwise stipulated in our rules, bets will stand whether or not the selection takes part in the event, unless the event itself does not take place in which case all bets will be void.

5.22 Not all players / runners will be quoted in our outright markets for some tournaments and event markets. If you want to bet on an unlisted selection, please e-mail service@betshop.com and we will endeavour to add the selection to the market.

5.23 In any sport, in the event of a draw between two or more participants, the bet is deemed a winning bet. The odds will be divided by the number of participants (e.g.: odds: 1.80, number of participants = 2, odds applied = 1.80 ÷ 2 = 0.90).

5.24 Bets are settled on the results obtained on the field, on the podium or ajudication of the official governing body unless otherwise stated. Any results on paper deriving from disciplinary action, sports or ordinary legal actions, shall not be taken into account. In case of news of "sporting offences" or "fixing " the Company reserves the right to freeze winnings or not to pay them.

5.25 In special cases, Betshop.com may verify a bet in writing, by e-mail, by post or by telefax before it is accepted.

5.26 For illustration only, Pounds Sterling (GBP) is used in examples throughout these rules.

5.27 Betshop.com will only accept bets if made online at the website. No postal, fax, e-mail, telephone or telex bets are accepted and if received will be made void, win or lose.

5.28 Multiple bets where the outcome of one part of the bet contributes to the outcome of another, (also known as "related bets"), are not accepted and if taken in error the stakes will be equally divided where they clash. For example, £20 Double, Agassi to win by 3 sets to 1 and Agassi to win the match outright is settled as 2 x £10 Singles. An exception to this rule is the First Goalscorer/Correct Score double bet (see football rules).

5.29 Where there is evidence of Match, Event, Price or Race rigging, or where information regarding the taking place, play of the event/race/match can be changing or influence the outcome, we reserve the right to make bets void or withhold payment of returns pending the outcome of any subsequent investigation.

5.30 All bets struck with Betshop.com are considered to be placed and received in United Kingdom. Any contract(s) between you and Betshop.com are deemed to have been formed in United Kingdom.

5.32 Should any eventuality occur that is not covered by these rules we will look for suitable parallels within our rules, or failing that generally accepted industry rules, before settling the bets on that event.

6.4 The maximum payouts will still apply even if by taking prices the level of payout exceeds our limits. Please bear maximum payout amounts in mind when you place your bet.

6.5 Customers are not permitted to make multiple bets using the same event. Customers are not permitted to make multiple bets or similar bets in combination of events if the possible win is higher than that stipulated in 6.1. Any one customer, or group of customers acting together, backing the same event or combination of selections whether done in a series of bets, at varying odds, over a number of days via their Betshop.com accounts will have their bets voided.

Betting rules

11.1 Results
Results of sporting events will be as per the podium position or adjudication of the official governing body unless otherwise stated. Any subsequent change to that result will be irrelevant for betting purposes.

11.2 Drawn Events
In the case two or more participants achieve the exact same winning result and therefore achieve a winning draw, the odds applied shall be equal to the odds accepted divided by the number of participants drawing (e.g. accepted odds 2.70 and three drawing participants leads to the applied odds: 2.70/3 = 0.90)

11.3 Head to Head
In head-to-head betting the following rules apply unless stated otherwise: -If one or more contestants fail to start, all bets are considered void and stakes will be refunded (odds=1.00).
-At least one contestant must finish the contest or the bet is considered void and stakes refunded (odds=1.00).
-If all contestants are disqualified or otherwise excluded, the odds is set to 1.00.
-If the contestants achieve the exact same result, the Drawn Events rule applies.

12.FOOTBALL/SOCCER

12.1 Match results
All football bets will be settled on 90 minutes play (injury and stoppage time allowed). Extra Time, Golden Goals and Penalty Shoot-Outs do not count unless stated otherwise.

12.2 Antepost bets.
The team awarded the championship shall be the winner, regardless of how it wins it (e.g. play-offs, extra time, golden goal, flick of a coin, etc.). If a team fails to qualify, is withdrawn or disqualified, all bets will be losing bets. All bets are all in and there is no refund on non-starters unless stated otherwise.

12.3 Suspended, Abandoned or Postponed Matches.
If a football match is suspended after it has started, and is not resumed within 72 hours, the result is deemed void (void - odds = 1).If the match is resumed in 72 hours, bets shall be settled on the full time result. If a match is postponed for any reason, bets will deemed void (void = odds = 1) unless played within 72 hours of the original kick-off.

12.4 Matches not played as listed:
In the event of a change of venue not published or made known to us at the time fixtures are posted, bets will stand provided the venue is not switched to the opponents ground or the match is played in a foreign country and this is not stated on our website, in which case selections for that match will be void.  If a team plays a different opponent to that displayed on our web site the match will be void.

12.5 Abandoned matches:
If a match starts but is later abandoned or postponed and is not completed (i.e 90 minutes of play according to the match officials, plus any stoppage time) all bets will be void except for those on markets which have been unconditionally determined (e.g. fist goal scorer, time of first goal, half time result etc.).  If the abandoned match is re-arranged for the following day all bets will stand.

12.6. Goal scorer markets:
(a) First and last goal scorer:
A price will be offered for “no goal scorer” in the match.  Own goals do not count. For first/last goal scorer purposes, players taking no part in the match will be void. For last goal scorer bets, any player taking part in the match will be deemed a runner irrespective of whether they were on the pitch at the time the last goal is scored.  Every effort is made to quote all players for a team, however, if the first/last goal is scored by a player not quoted on the original list that player will still count as the winner. Customers have the right to request a price for a player not quoted on the original list.
(b) Anytime Goal scorer:
Any player taking part in the match will be deemed a runner. Own goals do not count. Multiple bets involving anytime scorers in the match are accepted.
(c) Goal scorer disputes:
In the event of a dispute over who scored a goal, settlement will be based on the result given by the Press Association (PA) immediately following the end of the match.  Subsequent enquiries will not be considered for settlement purposes. If the PA do not produce statistics for a match played outside the UK , the result will be taken from the consensus of the national newspapers of the relevant country as printed the following day.

12.7. Related Contingencies in one match:
Where we offer various betting opportunities from the same match (e.g. correct score, first player to score etc.) these cannot be combined in accumulative bets where the outcome is related (except where special fixed prices are available for score casts)
Where an accumulative bet of this type has been accepted in error, it will be settled equally dividing the stake unit where the related outcome clash:-

EXAMPLE
A £10 double
Manchester UTD to win in 90 minutes play
and Manchester UTD to win 2-1 is settled as 2 separate singles X £5
