General Betting Rules

General Rules for Bet Royal Online Sportsbook and Casino.

2.1 Introduction

These Rules constitute a legally binding agreement between BetRoyal.com and you. By using this site you acknowledge you have read and understand these Rules and agree to be bound by them.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are familiar with these rules or the terms of a particular wager.

2.2 Jurisdiction

These rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Costa Rican Courts in respect of any dispute or matter arising from these rules.

2.3 Amendments to rules

Amendments to these rules will be published on our website. Changes will be notified by email to customers wherever possible, but it remains the responsibility of customers to ensure that they are aware of the current rules.

2.4 Age restriction

Placing wagers by anyone under the age of 18 years is prohibited. The right to void any transactions with minors is retained. This is in accordance with the laws of the Central Government of Costa Rica.

2.5 Wagers recorded

In the interests of customers and BetRoyal.com, all telephone calls and Internet wagers are recorded. All transactions are recorded using United States Eastern Time (ET).

2.6 Jurisdictional legality

2.6.1 It is each customer's responsibility to check that the laws in their location allow them to place wagers as wagering on this web site may not be legal for some or all residents of, or persons situated in, certain countries.

2.6.2 BetRoyal.com does not intend that the web site be used for wagering, or any other purposes, by persons in countries in which such activities are illegal. The web site does not constitute an offer, solicitation or invitation by BetRoyal.com for wagering or other services in any jurisdiction in which such activities are prohibited by law.

2.6.3 BetRoyal.com can accept no responsibility under the law in any jurisdiction other than that of the country of Costa Rica. All wagers made with BetRoyal.com are considered to be placed and received in the country of Costa Rica

2.7 One Account per customer

Customers may open only one account. Should we identify any customer with more than one account we reserve the right to treat any such accounts as one joint account.

2.8 Misrepresentation by a customer

BetRoyal.com relies entirely upon the information provided by the customer in the application in order to establish a wagering account. BetRoyal.com is not responsible for any form of misrepresentation by the customer.

2.9 No liability for loss or damage

BetRoyal.com and its subsidiaries, employees and agents accept no responsibility or liability for any damage or loss that may result from, or be alleged to have resulted from this web site, or its content, including delays or interruptions in operation or transmission, loss or corruption of data, communication or lines failure, any person's misuse of the site or its content or any error or omissions in content.

2.10 Account confidentiality

After opening your account your PIN number and password must remain secret. All transactions where your PIN number and password have been entered correctly will be regarded as valid, subject to there being sufficient funds in the account. If at any time you feel a third party is aware of your password you should change it immediately via the website. Should you forget part or all of your combination, please email our Customer Services Department who will verify your identity and issue a new combination.

All account information held by BetRoyal.com is securely data warehoused and remains confidential.

2.11 No credit

Customers may only wager with the amount of cleared funds held in their account. BetRoyal.com does not offer credit.

2.12 Hacking attempts

If you use, or attempt to use the BetRoyal.com service for other purposes including but not limited to tampering, hacking, modifying or otherwise corrupting the security or functionality of BetRoyal.com, your account will be terminated and you will be subject to damages and other penalties, including criminal prosecution where available.

2.13 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold BetRoyal.com, its affiliates, officers, directors and employees harmless from any claim or demand whatsoever relating to or arising out of the service.

2.14 Record maintenance and security

BetRoyal.com is responsible for keeping your records and personal information secure and confidential. BetRoyal.com protects your information from error, loss, and unauthorized access. Our employees who have access to your information are made aware of this and each employee must sign an agreement stating that maintaining confidentiality is a condition of employment with BetRoyal.com.

We may periodically email you notice to inspect your BetRoyal.com account history online. If your transaction history shows electronic funds transfers that you did not make or authorize, notify us at once. If you do not notify us within 60 days after receiving notice, you may not recover any money you lose after the 60 days if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had notified us in time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or hospital stay) kept you from notifying us, we may extend the time periods.

2.15 Account closure

BetRoyal.com reserves the right to close a Customer's account and refund account balance without further explanation.

2.16 Disputes and claims

All claims must be made within 7 days from the date of the event by emailing or telephoning BetRoyal.com. No claims will be accepted after this time period.

2.17 Business interruption

2.17.1 BetRoyal.com will not be liable in the event of: force majeure, central computer system delay, loss, error, or omissions resulting from failure of any telecommunications or any other data transmission system, any loss as a result of any act of God, outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism; acts of Government or authority, fire, explosion, flood, theft, malicious damage, strike, lockout, or industrial action of any kind.

2.17.2 BetRoyal.com shall not be liable for any damage or losses that may have resulted from or been caused by this website or its contents including delays or interruptions in operations or transmission, communication lines failure, any person’s use or misuse of the site and its contents, or any errors or omissions in the content.

2.18 Rules take precedence

BetRoyal.com does not guarantee the accuracy of information given verbally, by email or in live chats. The General Rules & Policies have precedence over any verbal or written communications.
