Customer service is always fast, courteous and friendly. You can wager thru the internet or even phone in a bet. As well, they also have 'Live Chat' where you can speak with someone 24 hrs. a day. The payouts are accurate and lightning fast. They offer a huge variety of different wagering options, including 'props'. This sportsbook has a spectacular selection of boxing lines. Even their casino is fair. This book rates a 10 out of 10 in my book and I highly recommend it!

Comments: I have had an affiliate link on my site for the past 2 years. It is impossible to get a payout from them. They have lost my info twice (yeah right) I started out with 5 players that used the site through my link. It got up to 15 and they lost my info, yeah right. I have sinse taken their banner off my site. I wish them nothing but the worst. Dave

Comments: never make a moneybookers payout with this crazy "the 6. best sportsbook in the world" (I guess sbr really mean the 6. badest) "Dear Customer Please be aware that the Moneybookers withdrawal request posted in your account for $196 was REJECTED due to the reason that we have had very low activity in our Moneybookers account & this matter makes us impossible to wire you your funds through this method.

Comments: I HAVE BEEN PLAYING WITH 5 DIMES FOR A FEW YEARS, AND AFTER READING UP ON OTHER FRAUDULENT RIP-OFF COMPANIES, I FELT COMPELLED TO DROP A LINE ABOUT 5 DIMES.I COMMONLY DEPOSIT MONEY TOO CLOSE TO GAME TIME, AND 5 DIMES MAKES SURE THAT I HAVE MY MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT BEFORE GAMETIME. PAYOUTS ARE RIDICULOUSLY QUICK. I JOKE WITH MY FRIENDS THAT WHEN I REQUEST A PAYOUT, THEY ARE GIVING ME MY WESTERN UNION CONTROL NUMBER BEFORE I HANG UP. ACTUALLY THE MONEY IS THERE FOR ME WITHIN AN HOUR.WHETHER IT IS A $100 OR $5,000 PAYOUT, THERE IS NO DIFFICULTY RECEIVING THE MONEY.THE MANY OPTIONS TO PLAY ON GAMES IS MIND BLOWING. IT IS REFRESHING TO HAVE A COMPANY LIKE 5 DIMES TO PLAY WITH. IT ALMOST MAKES MY LOSING WORTHWHILE.(WELL, NOT EXACTLY)BUT I RECOMMEND 5 DIMES.COM TO ANY PLAYER IN THE WORLD

Comments: First let me state I have never had a problem receiving any payouts. To me that is priority #1 in selecting an offshore (will I get paid). They also offer team totals and prop bets that many books do not offer. That said, 5Dimes is far from perfect. The site is extremely slow during peak wagering hours. They have an alternate URL for peak wagering hours which helps but even that site can get bogged down at times (and I have a DSL connection!). Grading errors are not uncommon although to their credit they will fix them when you inquire about them (check your wagers!). Customer service is fine until you have to deal with management which can be rude or arrogant depending on your situation. I would recommend them based on their payout history and variety of wagers but they have a lot of room for improvement in the software and customer service areas. Grade: B

Comments: They have just closed my account too. I do not know the real reason (I suppose the winnings maybe) because the management did not bother to give me any explanation. All that they told me was I was 'caught' 'double hitting the line'* (see 'Vocabulary' section) with somebody else, but they would not get into any further details despite my questions. If you wager a lot 5dimes is definitely not a sportsbook for you. And I wagered a lot. About 75 wagers per month which makes almost 1000 per year. I signed with 5dimes a year and a half ago. Almost every time I wagered I used the whole limit available and only straight single wagers. Every 500 wagers there would be one wager with a 'double hit-line' (see 'Interesting Quotations' section). When you first have it you will find your account locked (they will change your password so you cannot log in). The support will tell you that you have to speak with the General Manager - Tony. This is dreaded by most players who have experienced it. Tony never listens to people. So there is no use defeding yourself. Tonny will just announce - first warning. A brief sigh of relief then and no problems for approximately next 500 wagers. Than all of a sudden you will be 'caught'- yes, you have guessed right -'dobule-hitting' the line (see 'Interesting Quotations' section again). One more time they will change your password, and you will get a onesided 10 second-conversation with Tony. The boss says: your second and final warning, but this time we will cut your limits to 50% as well. And so you will get back to wagering, this time a bit resigned though. You will wonder what you can do to avoid 'double -hitting' lines with other customers. You will probably not get to the only solution which is - cease to wager at all. One beautiful day, approx 500 wagers later you will find your account locked. Guess why? Surprise! You have 'doulbe-hit' the line again (if you do not know it by heart check 'Interesting Quotations' section again). And this will be the end your affair with 5dimes. You will get to that point around the wager no 1500. No further warnings. They will close your account and settle your balance. You will be left with one question. Was there any hidden reason of closing my account or is 5dimes management as stupid as they seem to? Vocabulary: *double hitting the line - in 5dimes this means hitting the same line as another customer within a range of about 0-30 seconds (the sum of both stakes must exceed the limit for a single customer). After hit once the line is usually changed no sooner than 30 seconds later. Interesting Quotations: "Double hitting is never a coincidence" - Tony Williams, 5 dimes Chief Executive

Comments: I am only providing a review because I have read some of the other player reviews. I think this sportsbook is fantastic. I have used several already and this one is by far the best. I receive my payouts the next day after requesting them. That is always a plus. As far as bonuses, I don''t use the bonuses, as far as I''m concerned they are a scam from any sportsbook. My money is never tied up this way and I never have to meet any requirements. They have overnight lines and their football lines are put up a week before the games. And if you like teasers, they have up to 20 point teasers, unreal. This is the only sportsbook I will ever use from now on, by the way, I have been with them for almost a year now and have never had a problem.

Comments: As for their reload bonus I find the promotion decent and fair. Few sportsbook are offering it as good. But unfortunatelly this is one of the few things that I like about this sportsbook. Let's start with saying that in my opinion rating them A is a complete misunderstading. The customer service looks good.. at first. On their 24/7 live chat I usually chat with one operator (I suppose this is due my time zone). This man is one of the least competent people I have seen in this buiseness. I have never ever received any useful answer from him and what is more it happened a couple of times that he misled me and made me even more confused about my case. I think that all the people interesed know who I am writing about. Grading wagers is one of the worst things in this sportsbook. Bad grading happens quite often. But what is worse one can never be sure if their wager will stand or be void. They can void the line -106 saying that it was an obvious mistake and grade -115 for the same outcome as absolutely in order. Following SBR 5dimes is a sportsbook for professional players. It is true reagarding American sports (MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL). As for soccer, tennis and other non-American sports events the limits are quite low (250$ but more often 100$). And some players have even 50% of it (125$ and 50$). There are many sportsbooks marked as "for regular players" with higher limits. I will not comment on Igor's case he described in his review of 5dimes here. But the general manager's attitude towards the customer is somewhat original.

Look your rules what you must doing if game start is not correct. Rommel: Ok, I believe Laura was clear with you that your bet was not cancelled because this happens two days ago and by wagering manager decision the bet is not going to be cancelled since you contact us to late. Igor: Yesterday I have written the letter on info@5dimes.com, but has not received the answer. It is not fair play. Rommel: Well, all I can said sir is that this was a manager decision Rommel: And there is nothing else we can do for you Igor: I shall address on various forums and I shall write on SportsBook Review Rommel: Sir that is your own decision Rommel: let ask again if you want Igor: Yes Rommel: ok Igor: Why you do not play by your rules? Rommel: Ok, Igor again the answer was the same and you are aware of it we received your e-mail today, and we write you back with this: The Wagering Department has viewed your request and their answer to your plea is No, they will not void the past-post wager. You are now chatting with 'Tony' Tony: I am the head operations manager Tony: give me a moment to review this chat Igor: 5dimes was mistaken with time of beginnings of game or it is a deceit? Tony: you're saying we intentionally deceived you? Igor: Similar on it Igor: I should not find your mistakes and to inform you about them. Igor: You well understand, that I am right. Tony: So you're calling us deceitful liars, threatening us, then telling us how to run our operation? Here are your two choices: 1) Accept a void on the wager. Your account will be permanently closed. We really don't appreciate nor want customers like you. or 2) You accept the grade of the game and that is the end of it. Tony: your choice Tony: i'd really like to void the bet, pay you your balance, and be rid of you Igor: What to me to do to take away my money? Tony: take away Tony: ? Tony: i want to void your bet, pay you, and be rid of you Tony: i'm the boss, and i don't want you as a customer any longer Tony: so the choice is now yours Tony: if you choose to have the bet voided, your account will be closed and settled, any attempt at opening a new account will result in immedaite deletion of the account Igor: I want to take away my money. When I shall receive them? Tony: good, we'll be glad to be rid of you Tony: bet will be voided, and balance sent to your Moneybookers account within 30 minutes, is that ok for you? Igor: Ok. I am waiting my money. Tony: good, will be done within 30 minutes, any attempt at rejoining 5Dimes and the account will be deleted Igor: Thanks. The account in 5dimes is not necessary to me. Tony: We're glad to be rid of you, go bother someone else. Igor: Thanks. Igor: Money has received. Thanks.

Comments: I found it hard to stay with this book. Over a period of a week, I had 3 incorrectly graded wagers, which I had to argue with customer service about, after they told me I was wrong on each, only to get them corrected after repeated e-mail conversations with them. That is unheard of, having that many incorrectly graded plays, let alone in a week. That is their business. How can they not pay attention to that? The other major problem with them is how slow they are on grading wagers in general. They are by far, the slowest book I have used for grading plays. I have had wagers take over 6 hours to be graded. Again...ridiculous. This is their business. This happened several times. Their bonus is mediocre, as it is only matchplay, so it only has an implied value of less than 50% of the value. They also require funds stay in over 30 days, even if the rollover is met. On the plus side, they do have lines on almost every game, everywhere. They also allow you to parlay everything, including golf matchups, tennis, etc. But...There are just too many downs with this book. There are much better books, like Pinnacle that would be a much better choice.

Comments: On the plus side with this book, they offer a line on basically all sporting events going. They also allow you to parlay all events as well, which is a nice option to have. I had several problems with them. There was an issue with reliability of the web site for several days, but that was the least of the issues. I had a stretch where they INCORRECTLY GRADED WAGERS 4 times in one week. If you sign up with these guys, watch your wagers extremely carefully, and be prepared to argue with them to get them corrected. Each of the 4 times, I was basically told I was wrong, until I wrote out a long explaination. This, to me, is just plain unacceptable. I have never had a book that have those many errors in grading plays. Ridiculous, considering that is their business. Also, be prepared to have your wagers graded extremely slowly. Euro sports, where they may be graded within 10 minutes of the end of the game at Pinnacle, will take 3+ hours at this book. As far as bonuses, their bonus is a match-play which falls far behind bonuses at books like Bet Jamaica. Love their odds on all sports and variety, but just cannot deal with all the problems. Too bad. So much potential.

Comments: This is my 2nd day as a funded client of 5Dimes. Deposit via Western Union was smooth and my account was promptly credited including a reimbursement of the transfer fees. The bonus structure is different from the other books I have accounts with. 5Dimes doesn't give you a bonus until you turned your initial deposit account over 5 times while others give you the bonus up front. 5Dimes 20% bonus is called a "match play" which is different than a cash bonus. I will find out how it works once I get it. If it is similar to a match play that I get from casinos, it's real value is half of the implied value. Customer Service is excellent but unfortunitely I had to contact them 3 times already. These are the problems I have encountered...
1. 5Dimes is known for their 5 cent overnight lines in baseball, but if you look for baseball lines at night, the lines posted are 10 cent lines. You have to look under baseball props to find the 5 cent lines. Why do they post both sets of lines at the same time? It doesn't serve the customer who may choose the unfavorable 10 cent line by mistake. They should post the 10 cent lines only after they take down the 5 cent lines.
2. Their rules state that in baseball, you can select both pitchers, one pitcher or an action play. The problem is only the "both pitcher" option is available on-line and the other options must be bet over the phone.
3. When a pitching change is officailly announced before a game starts, 5Dimes does not cancel all bets that specified the scrathed pitcher until the game is complete. But they do post the updated lines with the new pitcher listed. So it's not like they didn't know there was a change. Most other books cancel the wager when the change is announced and the worst case should be after the first pitch. 5Dimes said they will look into changing their system to accomodate this and, to their credit, on-line Customer Service suggested that if I called up and spoke to the Line Manager, he may be able to cancel my bet early. Afterall, why tie up my funds on a cancelled bet for up to 24 hours when I may have some other action to place with those funds. This doesn't benefit the house or the player.
4. I played a few rolls of craps in the 5Dimes casino. The first time I tried, it was a very smooth process. The 2nd try, I got error messages that said I first must fund the casino account by transfering funds from the sportsbook account. I did not have to do this the first time. So I tried to do the funds transfer on-line and it did not work. The error messages were unclear as to what was wrong so I gave up.
5. The main betting screen allows you to narrow the available bets by selecting the sport(s) and other options (ie. 1st half or quarter) you want to see lines for. The screen has redundencies for the sports and is confusing. Also, although I select certain options like game and 1st half lines only, all lines (1st qtr, 2nd qtr, etc.) appear anyway. So you have to sift through a lot of junk that you are not interested in. Obviously, I have not requested any payouts as yet. So the required 'payout' rating above should be ignored. To summarize, I have been placing bets on-line for more than 8 years at mostly SBR ''''A'''' rated books and 5Dimes has, by far, the worst on-line user interface of the 10 books I have used.

Comments: I’ve been with 5 dimes about 2 years now. I never received any problems yet. Plus I got paid with no questions asked. But the main thing I really like this Sportbook is their wide selection of lines. You name it they have it. They have a money line on every college and pro game no matter how high the point spread is. So far I haven’t seen any other Sportbook compete with that. I would recommend this Sportbook to my friends. 5 Dimes keep up the good work! Thank you,

Comments: Professional to the utmost degree! Odds lines, wager options, ease of site use are as good or better than the other very best books! Clean and straight forward odds pages. Calls are immediately and expertly handled. One feels secure in that all employees are working as one unit! All parlays are comingled which is fun if one wants to parlay a boxing match in Germany with Nascar with an NBA game - fun to do at times as a respite from the more serious forms of wagering! Limits are up to the player and handled with the same courteous aplomb regardles of denomination. However, what sets this site apart from others I've dealt with is their cheerful, helpful and ALWAYS upbeat helpful approach to ANY player issues regardless of the nature of the inquiry! It is obvious to me that the 5Dimes inhouse staff is treated equally well by management/owners to CONSISTENTLY display this attitude and certainly appear to enjoy the service that they are providing. Oh, by the way, and of course of utmost importance - payouts/deposits - of any denomination, any format - are handled with equal alacrity. Payout promptness are dazzling in their response time - always accompanied by a verifying email! A unique and ongoing positive experience in an obviously stressful business!

Comments: Just signed up with 5 Dimes yesterday. Not too impressed so far. Wasn't the easiest website to navigate. Now today (a football sunday) their website is impossibly slow. So slow, I can't really even log on with a broadband (cable modem) connection. When I was enrolling yesterday one of the ladies in accounting dept was very helpful. When I called back after wiring money she was not at her desk and other employee helped me finalize setting up my account. I mentioned three times about making sure I will get the bonus that was advertised and he said yes, yes, and yes. Today still no bonus applied to account. Not real happy that I am already battling so much to set up my account and try to place bets. Is this going to be another "Betonsports" type of book? At least "Betonsports" had a fast website.

Comments:

There bonus program is the worst I have seen. You have to wager over a certain amount to get it. If you happen to loose that money you get no bonus.

10/12/04 SBR NOTE: Roll-over requirements are normal with any bonus as bookmakers do not give away money. Players should be leery of books offering high bonuses without these requirements.
