Sportsbook.LA was the newest book from the company that stole funds as 2WagerSports and UwagerSports (SBR rating F-). SBR identified the under-construction Sportsbook.LA in November of 2006.

BookTheBet’s owner is calling customer lists from these scam sportsbooks, offering huge "bailout" bonuses. One player reports being offered $8,900 if he is willing to deposit $2,000 and wager the total amount ten times. Players should avoid all sportsbooks offering too-good-to-be-true bonuses as well as sportsbooks who are giving out U.S. phone numbers.
10.10.2005 (11:11 PM CST)New scam sportsbook UWagerSports (SBR rating F-) giving 100% bonuses to new bettors. It is unlikely that these players will see any of their funds again. UWS is not expected to stay in operation beyond the NFL playoffs. This website was built for the purpose of scamming players, just as ownership’s previous sportsbook, 2WagerSports did. Players are reminded that SBR recommends playing with sportsbooks rated B+ or higher.

(SBR rating F-) reemerges as UWagerSports. Marty Kidd, of MK Sports Handicapping Service, is once again at the helm of this doomed sportsbook. Since our last 2wager report on 6/16/05 new players have reported being stiffed thousands by Marty and 2WagerSports. Players should avoid UWagerSports and its 40% bonuses at all costs.
06.16.2005 (10:57 PM CST)2WagerSports (SBR rating F) folds with player funds. In recent months the site has been intermittantly offline, but it appears 2WS is now closed for good. SBR issued warnings prior to payout difficulties. The sportsbook was offering 25% cash bonuses and slow-moving lines at reduced vig. Players can be sure they will see many too-good-to-be-true offers from the next 2WagerSports before the start of Preseason Football. SBR recommends players choose sportsbooks rated B+ or higher.

"My current balance with this sportsbook is $8929.92. My account number is XXXXX. Their phone and web site has been down since 12/31/2004. The phone numbers are 800-701-2397 and customer service 800-924-3716. Can you help me with this situation. Marty is the co-owner. he also works out of MKsports.com - phone number 1-800-887-5360. his email address is kmarketing-7@hotmail.com. Any information as to when their site will be back up etc. is greatly appreciated. I signed up with this sportsbook before I knew SBR existed. I have read several negative complaints about this book. thanks in advance for your help in this situation."
12.25.2004 (10:59 AM CST)Players report cold holiday season with no-pay sportsbooks. This past week SBR received a flood of slow-pay and no-pay complaints from books that continue to solidify their F ratings. Complaints included: WorldWager (SBR rating F) player reports being stiffed for $2,000; 2WagerSports (SBR rating F) player reports being owed $600 for over 3 weeks while phones have been down; SSP (SBR rating F) player files no-pay complaint claiming that he has been owed over $2,000 since September. Internet1x2 (SBR rating F) in full slow-pay mode once again. After eliminating a large portion of their debt, 1x2 is frustrating players with broken promises of payment. A few players are reporting small sporadic payments. These payments are likely sent out as unsuspecting new players deposit. SBR has also received the weekly batch of no-pay complaints from new victims of scam sportsbook, ESB (SBR rating F-). 11.08.2004 (01:08 PM CST)This new sportsbook is unlikely to survive the football season. Employees verify that management has been fired and players are being slow-paid. Ownership claims players with large balances have won by submitting wagers past-post (after the event has begun). SBR has received a slow-pay complaint from a player with 2wager who is also an employee of the sportsbook. Employees should never be allowed to wager with the book they work for.
10.13.2004 (06:42 PM CST)2WagerSports (SBR rating F+) player files slow-pay complaint. The new sportsbook blames a software glitch and a bank change for the delay. 2WS promises payment will go out via Western Union today.
